2019 Vauxhall/Opel Combo Cargo 1.5 Sportive Van Walkaround

In this video, we take a look around a Vauxhall Combo Cargo van. This particular one is owned by Andover Rubber Stamp Sign and Design Company who were kind enough to let me have a nose around their company van.

Another great walk round review. Love the Combo vans. During school/college holidays I used to work at our local Vauxhall dealership as a driver valeter and they had a mark 1 Combo (new at that time) for parts collection and delivery. Loved driving it. They even had a very rare pickup version for a while.

Thanks Ian! I do love a commercial vehicle for sure. They're certainly very useful vehicles and reasonably priced too with plenty of features. This one I imagine will be quite a bit larger than the Combo you used to see in your School/College days at Vauxhall dealerships as modern vehicles are massive. Obviously I can't comment on how it drives as I am unable to do so due to age but I have been out for a ride in it and it seems pretty compliant with road holding. I don't think i've ever seen a Pickup Combo before. I've seen a Pickup Vauxhall Omega courtesy of Car Throttle though 😜

Quite a good walk around although you forget to mention the underslung spare wheel and jack under the seat also the removeable tray under the seat.

Very good design and practicality. Plenty of workspace in the cab as well. Sportif is a very individual trim for owners not looking for the plain white van look. Well done PSA and well done Vauxhall.

Absolutely! It's a great all round van! It has loads of storage places in it and though the sportive isn't top spec, it's still very well equipped.

I do love a commercial vehicle. They are the usually quiet heroes who lug anything and everything around. Whether it's a parcel or a new set of tiles to keep you dry in your home. Yes sir, they sure have their uses and I love them very much 😁

@@PlanetautoUK it's definitely a change to doing car walkarounds and currently I don't have any others lined up but I would love to walkaround a few more commercials in the future. It's a good little van for the price it has to be said. Higher trim levels do get the better stereo and you can get a more powerful engine but of course, with most commercials, torque is key and when in the power band it gets delivered. I am interested in the Mercedes commercial vehicles so I have your videos to look forward to next year (got to get those 'next year' jokes in) 😉

Thanks Matt, still trying out new things with the formats and walkarounds likely will have different things about them for the foreseeable whilst trying out styles and camera angles and what info is relevant etc but great to hear you like this one. You have a lot more information about the cars involved than I usually do 😜 A Skyline would be awesome to see on your channel for sure! Fingers crossed that can happen for you 🤞

As for Mics, external work is usually a Rode Video Mic or Rode Video Micro in some cases. PTC wireless mic is a Kimafun which I bought (cheaply i'll add) off of Amazon but it does the job 😀
