Very nice car. Do you still own your Fiat 124 Spider Lusso? Could you advise if your aftermarket exhaust is resonated or non-resonated. It sounds very throaty however I am wondering how the exhaust effect interior noise level when cruising. I have a red 2018 Fiat 124 Spider Lusso and am contemplating an exhaust upgrade so any advice would surely be appreciated. Thanks.

I bought a 1.9 diesel ZX in 2008 off eBay for £800, with 60k on the clock, and got 7 years of trouble-free motoring out of it. When I eventually had to scrap it due to fused glow plugs in the block my garage man gave me £500 for it, so all it cost me was £300. I loved the car. On our twisty, bumpy roads here in West Cork, Ireland, it was like driving a magic carpet. It felt so roomy, visibility was fantastic all round, and the boot was really accessible. I'd go back to one again in a flash.

Thanks for this. To those seeing this in the future - the bottom screw that holds the lamp base on can rust and become seized. I just lost a whole cluster to this! Something to look out for when buying on ebay.

Just purchased a one year old HS PHEV with 9,000km on the odometer.... I love it, I drive mostly short distances so I select the EV mode. I have rooftop solar PV so I get "free" power to charge it. I work from home so charging during the day is easy. I only switch to hybrid mode if driving more than 50km

Nice to see how the fleet is going! Sad to see the Panda go (it was my favorite!), but I do love a good Dacia...nothing wrong with cheap, reliable cars! Glad the Mini is still doing well too...love the color on that car! :)

Nice fleet update. I had forgotten that you have the C5 but it's a really interesting side project. The Dacia is a great daily workhorse. Looking forward to seeing the Classic back in the road as it seems like a long time. It must be almost eight months since you had a drive in my coupe.

That must have been a terribly difficult video to make, and what an awful time you've been through. I've lost one of my parents, I can't imagine what it would have been like to lose both over such a short period. Hope you're doing OK.

Nice job sourcing and securing a rear beam for the Renault. I remember frantically rebuilding the rear suspension on a mates just days before he was due to drive it to Eastern Europe.

Love a good fleet update. I totally agree with your reasoning with keeping the Sandero too. Every fleet benefits from a no-nonsense worker bee type car that can be relied on to deal with the practical day to day stuff and take the pressure off the fun yet slightly less predictable/ relaxing members. I have a fondness for a small diesel car too. My Mk1 Fabia 1.4 TDi, that I had from 2009-2014, remains one of my favourite cars I've owned for its low running costs and no nonsense way of just getting stuff done. I think we did around 80k together in that time too without incident and it made very good use of its 70 horses. Always a pleasure to see Millie, great to hear you've managed to get elusive bits for the Megane and great work on the C5 too

A very difficult video to make I am sure Jake and as someone who maybe in the background has more knowledge of your situation through our WhatsApp messages etc I just want again to express my condolences to you and to say how strong you are to be able to not only make this video but to go back to filming content again for your channel. Oh Jake. First of all that must have been a very difficult video to make, especially when you're probably still trying to process everything. That's two absolutely tragic life events for anyone to go through, especially a young man, and so close together and unexpectedly too. My heart goes out to you. You've done a lot of good in the car community and, probably without even realising, actually helped a lot of people get through some difficult times too by just posting content and sharing your adventures so it's great to hear that people in turn have rallied around you. I know life can never go back to how it was but I hope 2024 brings happiness and fun adventures. Thinking of you sir

Oh man Jake mate....my sincere condolences, I cannot imagine everything you've been through in the last year.... That being said, if there is somebody who is the epitome of the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' British spirit, here you are getting back into something you love, coming to terms with everything and opening up to us. Looking forward to your new content as always when you finally are ready to get back to creating it. Always enjoyed your work (and Genevieve's too!). R.I.P. to your wonderful folks and onwards and upwards :) Hope your Mini, Panda, Genevieve's 500 and the camper are still in fine fettle....my '09 Hyundai Accent is still kicking and doing me proud, though she could use a good wash!
