Um actually mimikyu is horrifying in ways the audience does not get to see. Meowth is the only character in the show who on more than one occasion has seen it's true form under the costume- and everytime meowth is shocked to his core in fear.

Um actually Casper died of pneumonia in both the 1945 cartoon and the 1995 movie however in the TV series it is implied that ghosts can have babies as his parents are both ghosts and they got married.
Just had to double check this because man I was positive in the 1995 movie Casper was sledding, got stuck in a snowbank and suffocated.
And now I'm wondering what spawned that horrifying childhood memory. .. .

Um Actually, no one really worships the 3 Golden Goddesses despite them all technically being above Hylia and creating the Triforce and also the lands in which much of the series takes place. All of the hylians, Zelda included, worship Hylia specifically. Link being famously mute is in most of his incarnations however rarely ever shown praying to any gods except for in breath of the wild where the game allows you to pray to statues of Hylia.

Every time Link plays the Song of Time, he worships Nayru, for she is the Goddess of Time.

@@pozatat Din shaped the red earth with her flaming arms. To compare to the Tolkienverse, Din is simply the female version of Aule in the Zeldaverse. All things earth & fire fall under her realm of divinity. Sand is earth. The Dessert Colosus is a statue of Din the Gerudo built. Not every statue built by mortals is going to look like the actual Goddess whom they have not seen with their mortal eyes. Mountain is earth & fire. The Oracle Din is named after the Goddess Din because she is the Oracle of Seasons... which is how the earth changes (especially changes temperature, which also connects it to fire).
The Oracles are like Marvel's Black Panther.
While the Goddess Bast is the real Black Panther, her chosen human blessed with power is also known as "The Black Panther" even tho they are not her.
So too the Oracles are named after the Goddess they represent, but they are not the Goddesses themselves.

Um, actually, they do use stop motion in Gremlins. After a Gremlin jumps into a pool, there's hundreds of Gremlins walking down the street in a later shot. That shot uses stop motion.
Every time I watch this show there is always one moment where I think, “oh, I didn’t know that. I learned something new today” and THAT THING ends up being the correction. My brain flagged it as something I didn’t previously know to be true, and I still missed it.
Um, Actually - not only is Mimikyu NOT wearing the skin of another Pokémon (it's wearing a Rag doodled on to resemble Pikachu merchandise), but the nasal passage on the skull Vullaby wears as a diaper would NOT be "where it's dick would go" because the Vullaby/Mandibuzz Evolutionary line is always Female.

Whenever they enter the "more information" phase, Trapp should always give the person that got the partial correction the first guess. This would prevent scenarios where the point is stolen even tho the guesser knew the correction (eg when Gus stole Carolyn's Icarus point).
Um actually (sorry it's the format) as far as I have seen Trapp rarely, if ever, allows anyone to provide more information before the person who got the partial correction. For example, in this episode Carolyn actively avoided providing more information because she believed she would lose the point. However, she could never lose the point by offering more info. If her additional info was wrong and no one else got it right, she would get the point. If her additional info was wrong and someone else got it right, she would go first but she still loses the point. If her additional info is right, she goes first and she gets the point. It's only because she misunderstood the rules in the moment that she lost the point (not judging btw, if I were on I would be prone to mistakes like this or forgetting to say "um actually" I bet). Therefore, I would argue it is not a stolen point, it is more like she fumbled the point (again, no shade on her for it).
Yea but they have the potential to shoot themselves in the foot by answering first, they could answer wrong but then the other two have more info for their guesses. Whereas if the other two answer and they get it wrong, the original guesser still gets the point. Hard to say what the best way to handle that situation is.

I'm not sure I even recall him actively penalize anyone for guessing "Um actually, it was thing Y not X" - I feel like he's actually gotten very loose about being in the ballpark unless someone can be more specific. You could argue it's on Carolyn to just push for a specific guess, but regardless it would be more fair if he just prompted them first instead of leaving it up to ambiguous rules whether they think it's "safe" to guess or not, and more in keeping with previous play pattern.

Um, actually, Icarus is a perfect name for that space ship. Everyone on that ship had an understanding that it could be a 1-way trip. The protagonist even went on the mission after having prophetic dreams of himself falling into the sun. There's other things to critique about that movie but the names of the ships was appropriate and realistic.

I was thinking the same thing. Sauron spreads the religion of Morgoth to mortals in an attempt to corrupt them, but I'm not sure how much he himself worships him.
Um, actually, Mimikyu doesn't wear flesh torn from other Pokemon--it's just fabric like a rag that it has used a marker to make it look like Pikachu because it is a very lonely Pokemon, and knows that Pikachu is popular.
Um, actually 2 (electric boogaloo), the Ghost Sex Andrew mentions on Grey's Anatomy was in Season 6 which aired in 2009-2010 because one of the characters had a brain tumor--so it was off the rails long before season 18. Contrary to what Andrew said, no characters have died and come back to life (though several have appeared in dream/near death sequences)

This video was uploaded 2 days before the series finale and by then it was known that there's 3 spinoffs: one with Negan & Maggie called The Walking Dead: Dead City, one with only Daryl called Daryl Dixon, and a 3rd spinoff about Rick & Michonne in place of the 3 films. And The World Beyond already aired in its entirety.

Um, Actually, there are 11 recognized federal holidays now. Newly add was Juneteenth National Independence Day. Additionally, there is a 12th day off on Jan. 20th for Inauguration Day every 4 years but it seems that this may only apply to federal employees in the Washington, D.C. area.
Source: Federal law (5 U.S.C. 6103) establishes the public holidays for Federal employees.

Carolyn casually dropping that she has spend hundreds of hours in Total War: Warhammer is really entertaining to me for some reason. It's like finding out someone else is infected with the same insanity as you.

Um actually, there was one scene in Gremlins that used stop-motion. The reveal of all the hatched Gremlins walking down the street since it wouldn't have been possible to puppet that many creatures walking together.

Um Actually, Hylia became mortal and was born as Zelda and was only ever mentioned in two of the games: Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild. Meanwhile Nayru, Din and Farore are the Golden Goddesses that created Hyrule and the Triforce and were mentored in 5 games. The Golden Goddesses are the ones to actually worship.
Um actually Trapp; Hylia is not quite the god of Hyrule, she is the original protector of the Triforce, so more like a demigod. Hylia and the Triforce itself were created by "The Old Gods" better know as The Golden Goddesses, who created all of Hyrule. Though in breath of the wild and skyward sword people do worship Hylia most prominently, she is not the top of the deity chain when looking at the greater Devine tapestry of Hyrule.

They also picked Melkor sad Sauron's god when he is more like Lucifer and the only god is Eru Ilúvatar.

@@4203105 that one actually does make sense given the complicated lore of Tolkien's world and the different levels and type of diety and powerful being that Melkor and Souron are. In comparison, that would be like saying there aren't people in our real world who worship Lucifer because there is also God, when there very much are. But with Link, since he is already as close if not more closely connected with the Triforce as Hilia was I think his Worship if any would go above to the true Golden Goddesses.

I was also going to say this, Crom was Conan's god, but Conan specifically didn't worship Crom because it might make Crom notice him, and cause problems by sending things to test Conan's mettle even when Conan didn't want it.
7:10 Not an Um Actually but a Fun Fact: The terrible name of the Icarus was one of the things that was complained about by the scientific community (specifically by people who worked at NASA) because there is no way that NASA would ever approve a space craft with a name with such a negative connotation. Other than that the movie had some pretty decent science (Brian Cox consulted on it) and its a really cool movie!

Um, Actually, Link would worship different deities depending on which version of the hero is alive at the time. For example while in Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild the prominent deity is Hylia, there's no mention of her as a deity in Ocarina of Time and he would either worship the protector deity of the Kokiri, the Great Deku Tree, or the Three Golden Goddesses of Farore, Din, and Nayru, and in Spirit Tracks it would be the Spirits of Good.

I actually wanted to ask this about Sauron. Since Melkor / Morgoth was cast out of the world before Sauron's rise to power as is popularly known, I would say based on the picture, Sauron only serves himself. Although deep down both of them knew that the one true god was Eru Iluvatar, rebel as they might.

Um actually mimikyu isn’t wearing the skin of another Pokémon, it’s a costume that it made from cloth to resemble pikachu so that people will love it since it’s actual form is too horrifying to look at. Imo the more terrifying Pokémon are drowzee and hypno (put people to sleep and then eat their dreams), drifloon (in early versions would steal children by floating away with them), banette (basically Pokémon annabelle), and froslass (decorates with ice sculptures made of the humans they like)

10:30 In a D&D campaign I was in a while back, the GM had these NPCs that were super saccharine-sweet, but super creepy, in a Lake Laogai from ATLA sort of way. We later learned that they were criminals who had been 'rehabilited' through a punishment where they would be placed into a box, like a casket, and then something still unknown would be done to their minds throughout the punishment and it would permanently alter them. It was horrifying. The box, and the punishment as a whole, were referred to by the name "The Naughty Box".
Trapp at 19:35 saying it'd be like an annoying need slap fight brought to the highest court in the land also works as a description for what will happen when Brennan inevitably eventually gets fed up and sues over not getting a point despite telling viewers to "get in the comments"

25:48 Um, actually, only the Link from "Breath of the Wild" and its related media has been known to worship Hylia. In all previous games, Link was not depicted as having any specific religious affiliation, often being ignorant of his own world's myths and religions and needing to have them explained to him during the course of the game. The main exception to this is that the Link from the NES games was drawn in official art worshipping in front of a crucifix, implying that somehow, Christianity was at some point canon to the Zelda universe, though this has likely since been retconned.
Also, since Hylia is a relatively recent addition to the series, appearing in only two games to date, Hylia isn't shownr to be worshipped or even known about in any of the other games. So most Links, including the Link used for the reference image, would have worshipped the Golden Goddesses: Din, Nayru, and Farore, if those Links had any personal religion at all.
The Gerudo also originally had the Islamic crescent moon and star as their symbol, so both Christianity and Islam were almost canon in Zelda.

The Link questin feels a bit confusing. Depending on which Link, it could be Hylia, or it could be Din, Nayru, and Farore in games where Hylia is less present. Of course, I don't think any were mentioned before Ocarina of Time, unless that's a localization difference.
I don't believe any of them were no. The three goddess' were OoT and I think Hylia was Skyward Sword. Even then it's never directly said that any Link actually worships Hylia as a Godess. Certainly Zelda does in the games following SS, but Link is just kind of a warrior that has happened to be chosen by her. He get's his power from her sure, but doesn't actively worship her.
You are correct! Hylia was introduced in Skyward Sword as the Goddess protector of the Triforce, who exists in every Zelda of the Hyrule royal family. Hylia was tasked with the protection of the Triforce by Din, Nayru , and Farore, who are the Creation Goddesses introduced in Ocarina of Time. (there are also other gods like the Ocean King from Phantom Hourglass, and a debatable amount of godhood regarding the light spirits -- Ordon, Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru -- from Twilight Princess as well as the likes of Jabu-Jabu, the Wind Fish, the Great Fairy Goddess, the Sand Goddess worshipped by the Gerudo, The Horse Goddess from Breath of the Wild, and the Great Deku Tree, who has a continuous stream of consciousness between himself and his offspring)
I mean Din, Nayru, and Farore are the original gods and are most know throughout Hyrule, but the first game has Lynels, who are called guardian deities of Death Mountain

The others get their powers by being descended from her, but in Breath of the Wild I think you can get the goddess Hylia to speak to Link through one of her statues while Zelda is busy keeping Calamity Ganon sealed up.

they don't use stop motion for mogwai which is what the question says, but in the discussion afterwards they use gremlins and mogwai interchangeably and they definitely did use stop motion for the gremlins in some scenes

Um actually, while Melkor, later known as Morgoth, is Sauron's master and the most powerful of the Valar, Eru Illuvatar is actually above even Melkor.
Also, Sauron is sort of a god too, just a lesser tier than Melkor and the rest of the Valar. Sauron is one of the Maiar and so are the Balrogs, Gandalf, Sarumon, Radagast, the blue wizards, and many more less important ones.
I believe that picture of Sauron was from after the downfall of Morgoth, so he certainly didn't serve him at that time. The correct answer is either Sauron serving himself, as he does seek and claim godhood over Middle-Earth, or Eru, if the question is less about service and more about hierarchy of power/creator. Either way it can't be Melkor at the time pictured.
Obviously, the best legal battle for this show would be between the bird lawyer from Futurama, and Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.

Um actually, I'm with Andrew, they used stop motion at least once, namely for the scene after Stripe jumps into the pool at the YMCA, and a large group of newly born Gremlins take to the streets en masse EXACTLY at the 1 hour mark of the movie
Um, actually, Mimikyu doesn't wear the skin of another Pokemon, it's a sheet that it wears and draws on in the style of a Halloween ghost in order to look more like Pikachu because it knows that people love Pikachu.
Um, actually, it's not a sheet. It's the destroyed remnants of Pikachu plushie.
@@GeneralNickles Um, actually, Mimikyu's Pokemon Sword Pokedex entry merely refers to its outfit as a "rag fashioned into a Pikachu costume," and while it is possible that such a rag could come from a destroyed plushie, there's no evidence to suggest that Mimikyu favor using that material in particular.
