It originally had the word “luck” inscribed on the hilt, but as its original owner Blueford died, he wrote the letter P on it in blood before giving it to Jonathan Joestar. Also I don’t think it’s ever stated that that’s the sword’s name, it’s just written on it for the aesthetic (not 100% on that one though, been a while since I saw the show).

Also Um Actually Noir didn't die from the Almond Joy in the end but that's recording time. Um Actually twofold, the requirement for Super Saiyan god was not to have five Super Saiyans just five Saiyans, since Pan (who is a girl btw) is Gohan's unborn daughter she is a quarter Saiyan. In addition, there are female Super Saiyans, Universe 6's two Saiyans Caulifla and Kale both can turn Super Saiyan thanks to back tinglies, the latter being the Broly of her Universe. But yeah the women do get the short end unless you're Bulma.

I mean it's semi-autobiographical and has a scene describing the actual suffering and death Vonnegut witnessed surviving the bombing of Dresden as a POW. It's literally 'of its time' in that it couldn't have been written by anyone but someone who lived through World War II.

The dragonball super fetus thing sounds weird out of context. The thing to remember is, super actually happens slightly before the last scenes seen in dragonball Z, where there was a large time skip and pan exists. So, it is a callback and eventually she is born in the series normally. It was a nod to the viewers that they weren't going to retcon anything and that super is indeed the same universe as Z.

Melf was originally a D&D character. IIRC he was created by Gary Gygax' son Lucien. It literally stands for Male Elf. He's attributed in various later D&D editions as the creator of various spells such as Melf's Minute Meteors and Melf's Acid Arrow.
Um actually, comic Melf's shared namesake with D&D Melf was most likely a coincidence. Comic Melf was first introduced in April 1975, and while D&D Melf certainly existed in Gygax's campaign before then, he wasn't published until later in 1975 with the Greyhawk book.

It originally had the word “luck” inscribed on the hilt, but as its original owner Blueford died, he wrote the letter P on it in blood before giving it to Jonathan Joestar. Also I don’t think it’s ever stated that that’s the sword’s name, it’s just written on it for the aesthetic (not 100% on that one though, been a while since I saw the show).

Um Actually twofold, the requirement for Super Saiyan god was not to have five Super Saiyans just five Saiyans, since Pan (who is a girl btw) is Gohan's unborn daughter she is a quarter Saiyan. In addition, there are female Super Saiyans, Universe 6's two Saiyans Caulifla and Kale both can turn Super Saiyan thanks to back tinglies, the latter being the Broly of her Universe. But yeah the women do get the short end unless you're Bulma.

Those universes including one in which there are still female saiyans left alive. The dragonball super fetus thing sounds weird out of context. The thing to remember is, super actually happens slightly before the last scenes seen in dragonball Z, where there was a large time skip and pan exists.
So, it is a callback and eventually she is born in the series normally. It was a nod to the viewers that they weren't going to retcon anything and that super is indeed the same universe as Z.

He'd then write the novel The Dark Half, about a writer's murderous pen name coming to life and trying to kill him...and then much later he'd write The Regulators under the Bachman name, as a mirror novel to Desperation, which he wrote as himself. And while he was doing THAT, a compelling story about death row popped into his head, and instead of choosing either/or, he decided (on the advice of his agent Ralph Vicinanza) to release the death row story in 6 installments...and thus The Green Mile was born.

(Um, actually) in most media regarding raven, it's azuroth metrion zinthos (iirc azuroth is her home dimension and metrion is her mother's name. It's a mantra that allows her to focus her emotions into magic, though in higher states of power like in the episode when she fell in love with a fictional character she doesn't need to use it)

Um, Actually. Black Noir does not die in season 2 of the Boys. It is confirmed that he does not die
"They have a fetus be super saiyan over a woman" she says, then refers to Dragonball Z, devoid of any female saiyans. Like that fetus is the first female saiyan in the series since planet vegetas destruction, universe 6 has female saiyans but they don't know about super saiyan iirc. When they do learn, 1 of those female saiyans becomes an absolute beast.

Yes, but it's a story, a writer (Akira Toriyama or Toei) CHOSE to write it that way
It's not like any of the canon or non-canon saiyans couldn't have been women for any reason
@@ozioni2553 yeah that's a fair point though the series was made in a different time. I can't speak to the motivations at the time but I can imagine their argument being that, one they didn't know how to draw a female Super Saiyan at the time so they wouldn't make more work for themselves, two if the only living sayains are both male then there's no need to create a love affair about preserving the Saiyan race, considering Goku was already with Chi-Chi. Also Toriyama is notoriously bad with remembering his story, retcons are everywhere because of it.

If you can draw a super saiyan, you can draw a female super saiyan, it's not like the characters change that much between their base and super saiyan form
And both of the male saiayans have been in relationships, goku since before Z even began or saiyans as a concept were introduced and vegeta since trunks showed up right after the Freeza saga

My personal headcanon is that Launch was a female Super Saiyan, they just didn't know what a Super Saiyan was until after she mysteriously vanished from the series.

umm acutally, black noir didnt die from his allergic reaction. There are scenes following with him on life support and having different other heroes talking to him while he is in a coma.
