      Fr man is buggin. Bouknight was easily the worst rookie. Bro didn't play his first game until like 2 weeks in the NBA season plus his college stats where horrible idk how he was a lottery pick in the hornets eyes. Age shouldn't matter when drafting.

    love the vid, personally don’t understand the bouknight pick(yes im a biased hornets fan). when the hornets gave him solid minutes at the start of the year, he was killing it. I think there was some stat saying when he played atleast 12 minutes he scores atleast 15 points. Then he delt with soreness and they let him chill in the g-league, and he even said himself that he wasn’t 100%. when he did come back, in the minutes he got, he wasn’t that great, but when healthy he showed flashes of being a star in our future. as my boy terry rozier said the other day “everyone here loves bouk”. i don’t think the hornets would change up that pick.

    I think Ime Udoka is COTY. Monty Williams plays a big part in the Suns success for sure, but they're not drastically improved from last year and a lot of coaches would look pretty good if they ran a team as deep as the Suns with a borderline player coach in Chris Paul. Ime, on the other hand, led the Celtics to a historic turnaround (11th before All Star Break, 2nd after ASB) with almost the same roster as a team that finished in the 7 seed last year. It's a completely different brand of basketball that he's clearly responsible for.

    Jokic has something that doesn’t embiid doesn’t, which is being an all-time great at something: the best passing big man, ever. He does things that no one else of his caliber can do. To me, that’s enough of an “it” factor to consider him MVP.

    Bouknight is going to be just fine in this league. With the rookies getting younger and younger, I’ve put less of a precedent on their rookie year success when predicting how their career pans outs. With Bouknights height, skill set and scoring abilities, I’d be shocked if he failed to score 17 a game down the road

    tyrese maxey should get a mention for most improved player... without the huge step up from maxey, taking over and flourishing as the sixers starting pg and then just as much off the ball after harden arrived, thr sixers could very well have been a tire fire due to the 25 quitting on the team.... anyway, dunno that he should win necessarily, but he deserves a shout in the convo for sure...

    You forgot to mention the actual favorite to win MIP, Ja Morant. Let's all remember that he just made the leap to All Star this year. His stat jumps were astronomical. Just because he was drafted #2 overall and had such high expectations from the start doesn't mean he's disqualified from winning this award. He made the biggest jump of all. Give it to him.

    • @MK-kc3cc
      @MK-kc3cc 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like Draymond said. Morant was good last year. He gave impact for team, but last year they made to playoffs on 8 seed. What about Cleveland? Last year they were worst teams and thanks to Garland's improvement and Mobley selection they are at 8 seed, but battling in Play-in torunament. Also. Why Luka didn't get in his 2 season MIP? Because he wasn't on the list for MIP candidates. What about Tyrese Maxey? You will also say that he's not an favourite for MIP award cause he didn't improved so much? Morant is in his 3 season really good, but that's all. And what about Dejounte Murray? Like Morant despite not so many points per game like Ja, he is all-round player who also lead Spurs to shockingly 10 seed. So don't say Morant deserve MIP award this year

      @@MK-kc3cc There was no jump by Luka. He was awesome to begin with and the only reason he didn't make the ASG was because the players and media are effin racists and didn't want a white Euro getting a starting gig. The fans voted him in and they were right. FWIW I'm not discounting Garland's year. They accomplished a lot, which he is why he'll be a contender for the award. He just won't win it over Morant. And no matter how much you say Morant doesn't deserve to win it, he's winning it. Whether he likes it or not.

    • @MK-kc3cc
      @MK-kc3cc 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrPhilbautista but look. Like you said about Luka, when Ja came to the league, it took some time to carry his team and even in his first year try to even make playoff run (we know how it ends) in bubble. Darius don't have easy time. Why? Because Cavs tanks three times in the last 4 years before LeBron joins Lakers. He didn't have easy road, that the team is building around him. What about Ja? We know it. I'm not disrespecting Ja, because in his 3 season he is incredible (It's boring for me to see him going always near the rim and do some hook shots xd), he make this team very dangerous and somewhat candidates to title (not so much, but for some reason). But. Morant when he was chosen by Memphis he was (for me) at beginning player who is a star on average or even bad team. Garland was role player. I don't want to continue the same thing that i said on my first respond to your comment, cause it will be boring, but Ja is honestly not a player who is now a candidate to MIP. No offense to him again, but players like McCollum (I'm saying about players who wins MIP over last years), Oladipo, PG-13 or Butler wasn't a player who at beginning was star like Ja. Especially player that I didn't mentioned Pascal Siakam. They was (ok. PG leads Indiana to conference finals and became an All-Star, but at the beginning he wasn't player at that caliber like Ja) role players who thanks to their hard work become All-Star. Ja also with this became All-Star (or even now Superstar), but the impact for Cleveland from Darius is more interesting and more incredible than impact from Ja to Memphis (because in next years they will surely improved so much to point that they will be unstopabble). I respect your opinion, but I will have my own opinion.
