Andrew Wiggins making it as a starter wasn't due to Warriors fans for the most part, it was cause a K-Pop star with 11 million followers told his entire fan base to vote Wiggins, and most of them didn't even watch the NBA
How do you explain his high votes this year again? And come on its not like Kendall Jenner didn't told 32.4 million folllowers to vote for booker yet he didn't still start over steph and ja. Kevin hart is asking eveyone to vote for steph yet no one complains. And Wiggins is better than KAT and Gobert as playoffs numbers shows. Luka could have easily made the frontcourt over him but he's not listed as one.
@@gh-co1uk Wiggins has missed about half of the season my guy. I'm a warriors fan and i agree that he's playing well but he doesn't deserve it. K-pop fans are more 'do what our idol wants' then Kendal and Kevin hart fans and even without Kevin you know Steph is gonna be an all star.

I don't think he deserves to be an all star this season too cuz of too many missed games. And do you even know k-pop? The fanbase of most K-pop artists like bts, blackpink are indeed "do what i want" but as for bambam he's not that type of K-pop artists. Look at the views of his solos its not even that popular of a music. His group is popular but if its just him, his fanbase doesn't have that type of culture like the members of bts and other mainstream K-pop groups

Sabonis is underrated as hell the playmaking defense and rebounds easily make him a top 30 player currently

The All Star pool this year is so deep. Lot of guys that will miss it would have made it on any other given season. I really think a player like Jalen Brunson has done enough to be there but unfortunately the level of competition is so high this year.
Jalen Brunson is on an absolute tear right now…it would be a shame if he didn’t make it but I think whether it’s via injury replacement or not, he ultimately gets in
JB will make it. The coaches actually know ball and they know how hard it is to contain JB especially as of late
if davis, booker, haliburton, durant, zion all make it (which more than likely at least 4 of them will if not all 5) there’s gonna be a lot of replacements which would be good bc there’s so many deserving guys this year. brunson & fox likely won’t make the original roster but i think they should be the first 2 replacements

With Sabonis on court Kings offense is the 1st in the NBA. Without him they are 29th. I would say thats pretty big impact. Yes, normally guards have bigger impact but that rule doesnt apply to playmaking bigs like Jokic or Sabonis.

Sabonis impacts the game for the kings so much and people who don’t watch kings basketball will say otherwise. He’s so big that people gravitate towards him leaving teammates open for clean shots
Fox shoots 20%!!! better than SGA in the clutch and his team is 4th in the west. If we are supposed to want winning teams in the all star game SGA over Fox is an absolute joke. SGA just green lights at all day and gets 35 min/game.

For a second there I thought you weren't going to give Lauri his props. Kid has been a completely different player since leading team Finland in FIBA. Definitely an all-star this year.
His clutch stats are absolutely dismal. He can't hit a shot when it counts. The only reason he might make all star is because he's being pushed so hard and people want a feel good story for a team that doesn't need one after the haul they got in trades.

This is one of the worst list.
If we want to treat the all star game as if it really matters, then just make the coaches vote for all the positions (not on your team). They always make the best, unbiased picks compared to everyone else. If we want to treat it like it is (just a stupid fun game for the fans) then let the fans pick the teams. But I know that'll NEVER happen, because of all the vanity associated with being an "all star." When in reality being an all star means nothing. It's all about the end of the season awards in my opinion.

I am not going to get emotional about this situation, but I will say that I do not in any way think of the Sacramento Kings lost the trade Halliburton and buddy hield for sabonis. I don't understand why people say these things even if you were add Tyrese's current contribution to last year Sacramento Kings I don't think that makes them a better team, I just think it ends being empty numbers especially because their defense was terrible and still would be with Buddy hield at 3. The trade ended up unleashing de'aaron Fox but other young guys who hadn't had playtime including their new additions. And I think personally sabonis is a better fit for the Fox than Halliburton. My opinion though
sabonis is a better fit yeah but tyrese has much more trade value, and so does hield. A lot of teams would’ve given at least a little bit more than what the pacers gave up for tyrese

It's just facts. sabonis and Fox just fits perfectly while Halibitter is a ball dominant guard who would suck without the ball. Kings were actually good last year when Fox was on the court. The moment he sits, they would lose leads or the game goes out of hand. Fox with a competent roster around him, have the Kings winning games.

The East snubs are a real shame. So many good players worthy of it. Demar has been electric, but the Bulls haven't won enough. Porzingis would be a great story about his return from "bumdom", but the Wizards haven't been good enough, and Brunson would be great to see given how much he's turned the Knicks around and he'd be a 1st time AS, but I don't see both him and Randle making it together.
Sabonis, Markannen and Haliburton deserve all star appearance this year. If that doesn't happen for all three of them, then all star voting needs a serious reforming. ASAP.
Jazz are on a 12-21 stretch for the past 2 months and Lauri can't hit a shot to save his life in the clutch. The only reason he's considered is the NBA media turned the 10-3 season start stretch into a darling story and he has the green light to put up stats all night. Don't put him in put in someone who actually deserves it.

Totally agree. Kings fans like myself who watch every game can tell that thus take is very shallow. Haliburton should be an all star but sabonis impact has been huge.

@@MoralesCorner I agree. Haliburton has proven his ability to run an offense out from under Fox's shadow and Sabonis has been able to excel as a primary big, but was underutilized in Indiana alongside Turner.

All star selection format proposal:
- Top 20 mvp ladder players split to 4 teams of 5 players.
- top 4 players are captains and have a draft to pick each team.
- games are up to 21 points blacktop style.
- playing position is irrelevant to be picked.
I like it, problem is teams wont let their stars go all out and compete risking an injury out there. Guys playing straight one on ones would be also cool.

I have to really disagree with Sabonis being a forward/centre automatically means he's less crucial to the team than Hali who is a guard. Sabonis is the most crucial cog to the Kings offense, everything runs through him. The difference between having him on the court and off is night and day. I would say Sabonis is the most important Kings player.
I've never understood why we treat "All-Stars" as if they actually mean anything other than popularity. We've only played half the season. Guys have been injured. There's NO way to judge who's the best until the end of the season. The All-Star weekend was always about the fans (at least, it used to be). But then big name stars stopped doing the skill competitions, and then they stopped playing defense, and the whole thing became a complete waste of time in my opinion.
imo fan voting should be less than 50%, i know the all star game isn't supposed to be that serious but D Rose and reaves being all stars is crazy, we shall see how much the media can counteract that
