Thanks for the guide. It's wierd they changed the setup process like this, i'm quite used to the previous versions which last worked on 1.16.5. Hopefully they won't change this procces too much in the future.
Also, keep in mind ever since Minecraft 1.17, you need to have Java 17 installed if you want to start a server like this and to also use it with third part launchers.
Edit: If you see that when you open the run.bat file for the first time during the setup process that it does no generate more files and asks you to check the eula. Make sure that you have the latest version of java 17 installed. If you have an older version, do a java 17 download search and download the latest java 17 version.

Okay, but what about adding mod? i added a mod on the mod server, and did the same to client-side, and the mod doesn't work ( World edit)

You need the correct Java for it to work. Also Run.bat and Run are the same, don't worry about that :)

This means you have mod incompatibilities, nothing is wrong with the server.

you need to have the latest Java downloaded and it cant be downloaded inside of a system locked folder (like ProgramFiles(x86))

When hitting run the first time. I thought it was searching for the correct file directory for the file despite trying to add in the correct file directory. This is annoying as I have done servers up to 1.16 without having any trouble getting the eula to show up. All my 1.12.2 and 1.16 servers still run just fine. What can I do to fix it?

@@ett2766 I looked it up. Seems it is a problem when your java isnt version 18 or something (basically the newest version) but to run my personal 1.12.2 servers, having the newest version of java doesnt let me run them

Sometimes the mods need plugins
And you must Download curse forge
With curse forge you such the mods you want and make These in a Folder then Star your folder and you have the mods

99% sure that you're missing the Forge server.. I had the same issue while trying to run a Server Modpack. Once i installed Forge it began to work again for me.
Update your Java, newer Minecraft versions require Java 17 or higher

You haven't downloaded Forge. I had the exact same issue until i realised i hadn't gotten the Forge Server installed.

I solved that problem by installing Oracle JDK (latest version), this is because I only had Java installed at the time of trying that step.
Now I have other problems xD
@user_jvm_args.txt cant be found when i try to run the .bat file in the beginning.
