This should be a required course in high school on how to build a family home. Looks great.

Some schools used to offer it as a class. Building trades. The class gave students a way into the journeyman program. But sadly the classes are being removed from schools.
@@TheWoodyjeep remember metal shop, wood shop even driver's education? All classes that were actually worth going too. Not one school offers that?
@@johnathangreay987 i remember and some some schools still offer a few. My local school still teaches students how to weld and basic home repair in their FFA program.
Memories. My husband and I built a home together but without the kind of machinery you have. Vaulted ceiling was done with scaffolding and a rope and pully sytem to rais the studs for the ceiling. Memories.
I have to admit this brought tears to my eyes. So happy for you all. You worked so hard and you made your dream a reality. Not many people can say the same. God is good!!

Putting this together was an epic historic masterpiece. You should have an annual family ritual of watching this every year . . in case you lose your appreciation for what it's like to be united as a family. I went back a 2nd time and watched it @2x speed muted. It really is remarkable. You all should be so proud. You guys won't know what to do once you get your front deck/hot tub done. concrete logs are a great low maintenance product, you will appreciate that style for years.
I still remember that you had your concrete wallsup for ages before you started with the wood joists, but then watching every week to see the building turn into a beautiful home. you had a lot of help from your family and you have created your dream

I've been watching since Washington. What an IMPRESSIVE accomplishment you have achieved!!! And that doesn't even include all the other things you've done since you've been there; homeschooling, the well and pump house, animal pens, the garden, the barndominium, the fund raisers for pediatric cancer, etc... You are all magnificent examples of faith hard work and love for each other. I watched every episode, so proud of each thing you both did to build this amazing house. What you did is nothing short of amazing. Amazing dedication to hard work and detail. It was so very hard, yet you proved to yourselves that you could do this. Alongside that you was mother and father to four children plus cared for all your animals and garden. Plus you built the tiny house the horse shelter etc etc.
