Its the bengals curse man, they showed shayne graham missing twice in the playoffs against the jets which would have made a comeback possible but instead screwed it up. Zimmer left cincinnati but brought the damn curse to Minnesota. Hopefully this will be the year for the vikings

Years ago Matt Bahr, who was probably about 45 at the time, was kicking for the Patriots against Miami and clanged a 19-yarder off the crossbar - still the only time I have ever seen that on that short of a kick.

In 2009, Shaun Suisham missed a kick that sent the Saints to the Super Bowl. The Redskins were up by 7 and his would have given them a 10 point lead with a minute left. Instead he missed the 23 yarder and a couple plays later Drew Brees had the Saints in the end zone to tie the game where of course, they would win it overtime. Without that win the Vikings would have been the #1 seed and no way we get out of Minneapolis with a win. So thanks Shaun!

Walsh's and Cundiff's are the two worst. Cundiff's miss was in the AFC championship game I believe, and in particular came a play after the Ravens receiver dropped an easily caught pass in the end zone. This let the Pats go to the SB yet again (and Eli Manning beat them again...)

Is there footage of that online? That's widely considered the worst game in MNF history and some have somewhat facetiously suggested it was a major reason for Cosell quitting calling football.

Its so weird that punters are holders. It makes sense though, but I'd rather have a backup player who is quick and can throw a decent pass. Punters have so much time to work with kickers though so I guess they'll always have the leg up.

The worst field goal miss is not here. In the mid-1990s, the San Francisco 49ers could not get into the end zone on third down from the 1, so they brought out place kicker MIKE COFER to pick up an easy three points. The kick was snap-hooked and it missed by at least thirty feet left, nor did the ball fly above the bottom crossbar. That was the last time I saw him on the team.
And I would assume that one wasn’t on the snapper or the holder.
