My present problem is that i recently purchased a MacBook Pro 13"; and am having decisive issues on what to purchase to begin to fulfill on my original idea of becoming a sound designer/composer after I graduated from Full Sail in 1999. ( Spent a very long time paying off debt) What minimal equipment to purchase to get me started is the BIG question. You suggested the MPC Studio; I have been looking at also wanting to find a small keyboard like the Roland System 1, because I'd like to have something that allows for chord progressions; and full utilization of my hands. I do not want to spend a lot of money at first; just want to begin composing, songwriting, creating arrangements, beatmaking, etc. And then make some money. I am also looking for work also, really don't want to go back to OTR Truck driving, but the possibility of the weekly pay amounts is enticing. AND i am mobile at the moment, meaning...no apt or room situation. Would love to locate a cheap room with utilities and WIFI to call home, cause I am in Chattanooga, TN at an Extended Stay.

Good video. I got my new Royalties a few days ago. For some reason Distrokid only payed me out for like a quarter of the streams for September. Last month it was the same and I thought I’ll get the rest this month but I got even less. That’s quite frustrating because I got a lot streams last month with Spotify algorithm playlists. Hey does distro post music on radio platforms as well? I was wondering because when it say that it's been sent to their platforms, but its been like 6 months. They did post my music on things like spotify, google play, amazon, and a couple of others, but the radio platforms I check haven't uploaded them.

I had distrokid then I deleted my account because I couldn't downgrade to a lower tier. I didn't make enough to justify keeping the label tier. I do think I will go back and get the 2 artist plan. Even if I just have some beats and instrumentals, would it be beneficial to just upload them?

this was dope and i like the studio set-up man very tight. im still a little confused bout distrokid i mean im sure they dont collect everything i mean if they did be no reason for P.R.O's and places like sound exchange ect...also, with the whole way distrokid has it designed say u have a standard account . if u using the team feature dont that mean u can basically work with as many artist as u want?? like does it mean u can only distribute ur work with 1 other artist and/or band?? not bad but seems limiting
