  • Most annoying turn signal lever ever - a momentary switch instead of one that locks in place. It has a "lane change" feature that flashes 1 to 7 times. Mine was set to 3 flashes... not enough for a typical legal lane change. I show you how to set with Forscan.

    Hey question is the ford Taurus worth buying I find them here in south Florida for fairly cheap but are they reliable? Reliable as in a modern car

      I haven't had any issues with mine. They (Taurus & Explorer) are known to have water pump issues in the 100-120k mile range and PTU problems at virtually any mileage. If you frequently change the coolant you can possibly make your water pump last. If you add a drain plug and refill tube and change your PTU fluid annually you can make it last. Don't believe Ford's suggestion about "lifetime fluids" there is no such thing! It still has a drain plug on the transmission and a dipstick so you can somewhat service the transmission (filter isn't really DIY replaceable though). They aren't as reliable as a Vic but honestly nothing is.
