I did the same thing with the black wire but lucky I had a soldering iron and A little bit of experience so I was able to fix it regarding taking it apart for no reason

I've accidently ripped the white wire off and now I dont know how to put it back correctly :(

How did you get the knob off?
Just pull in out with long nose pliers or similar -get a good grip on it and it just pulls perpendicular to body of mic.
