In this episode we are going through the disassembly process for the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 11 Active Subwoofer. The video will guide you have to disassembly all the parts.
The Beolab 11 is a new lower-priced subwoofer meant to complement the Beovision 10. It employs a design approach observed in previous subwoofers of having similar components firing in opposing directions, resulting in a more sturdy construction. The B&W PV1 does just that, thanks to B&O ICE amplification.
B&O, on the other hand, has thrown a fresh twist to the equation by having the two 130mm drive units fire inwards, allowing the exterior casing to be composed of the same polished aluminum found on the Beovision 10.
The speaker is powered by a 250W ICE unit, putting it below the Beolab 2 in the range.

It’s amazing how the symmetry on the outside conceals the complexity inside, but that’s Bang & Olufsen for you. Great video thanks for posting this. If you want something really involved to take apart try a beomaster 6000 quad. The motor drive clutch is a marvel !

I have a Beolab 2 in my tv room and i think i need to change it to Beolab 11 in Blue color. My favorite is Beolab 19 :)
