This is not the first time you showed how much you care about people. There are a lot of hard working people but have no opportunities in Thailand. They are marginalized and invisible by society. Thanks again for seeing marginalized people and caring for them. God bless you and enjoy your journey!
I found that very interesting. I live in Chiang Rai and have literally never eaten in any of those places. I guess if you are driving a car and going places to hang with Thai friends or other couples you end up frequenting a different style of restaurant than if you are walking the streets. I do love your vibe though. Chiang Rai has some really amazing dining options including a Chef's Table called Locus Native Food Lab and Chef Kong is an inspirational guy.
Nice to be just a tourist , Chiang Rai needs more of you , it's very quite still.

That blue tint really doesn't change the taste but there are different varieties of rice with varying colors, textures and tastes which are amazing.

Yeah, you better walk in order to burn off the calories. Try Charin Garden for a variety of homemade pies. ( outside of Chiangrai) The Thai owner once lived in the USA and learned to make scrumptious pies.
