I hope your channel reaches a lot of viewers, and you keep doing it. It's so important for Thailand to have channels like yours. Most of youtube is content about the nightlife, and that really is such a shame. 99% of the content is about 1% of the population. There needs to be channels like yours that show real life.
What an amazing man Damo dad is just fantastic. My grandfather back in the 1940s used to use every inch of his garden and would grow flowers in be the vegetables they would act as a sort of insects prevention, I never knew him as he died just after I was born . It all looks truly amazing I have to say I know you will get were you all want to be . Keep positive
So cool Piggy and Puppies sleeping together. Great looking plants 🪴 And as always a really beautiful amazing production, you are really great at producing video blogs Beautiful family and just a joy to watch
Take my hat off to you two lovely people. I am deep in my 60's and yet I learn a lot from you. You have lovely children and Otis is a clever brainy young man. Keep doing what you do. Love your music selection!
I absolutely love Heavenly Blue Morning glories. My favorite flower. You are just starting to farm. Your FIL has done this to support his family for many years. You are getting there. You will improve every year as you learn what works and what doesn’t. Use the knowledge that your FIL has. He is a priceless resource. The local way is a good way, but you can improve with scientific methods. Your homestead is looking wonderful. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Genius…. I live in Thailand and I spend a long time planting seeds, re-planting them, hand watering and training them to grow up what I have built. I get some fruit, not too much. My missus mother takes the seeds from a cucumber or pumpkin or anything she is eating…. Looks around, almost just throws them on the floor and gets significant more fruit than me!😂
You guys, and what you're doing deserves millions of views. You are gracious hosts and showing us all how self-sustaining we could all be with a little effort. Kudos and much love to all of you. Please, keep doing what you're doing.
Laugh at them! You are doing it and they are not! The non doers always have something to complain. Be grateful each day….have fun….success will follow. Your loyal supporters appreciate your ingenuity/industry/great values.
Super enjoyable VLOG...loved the visit to "Dads" place...yes, we can learn much from our elders despite all of our "advanced technology". U2 and the boys charge on! Thanks for sharing with us such beauty, such love, and you goals...charge on!
Damo’s dad is really good at growing all those vegetables. I’m sure Ryan and Damo’s veggie garden is going to be very good as they have the net to prevent from insects. That’s a good idea. I myself have tried and learned to plant vegetables in my backyard in Bangkok for two years since Covid. It’s not easy at all. But it’s a learning curve for me. I understand what both of you are doing and agreed 100%.
Place looking good I remember growing up my dad always grew a big garden keep the inspects away he used lime on the leaves it seem work . This lifestyle is very hard but rewarding I sure good luck 👍 have fun hooe all success to you and famliy
Thanks Damo and Ryan. The interesting insight is the difference between western mindset and Thai mindset. I experience this on the farm with my wife Thalinee. I look at compartmentalizing things, setting specific areas for planting different things. My lady is not constrained by that. To a degree she will happily plant things in handy places anywhere she choses....lol. I guess its to do with the western mentality of permanance. If thats a word. Whereas the Thai mentality is nothing is permanent. What is right - is right in the moment. That may change tomorrow. And we will deal with it then. Understanding this, is very important for a foreign national settling in to the Thai environment.
I’ve realised that there is something wonderful about seeing a contented pig snuffling in the garden and wagging its tail...go Apple 😊...thank you for sharing Ryan, Damo ...Tis and Hugo.😊
Damo is getting good at presenting ......YAY for Damo this new way of involving Thai is really good. I think I'm picking up a bit if Thai speaking watching this. is a wonderful way to help the learning a language.
You can’t beat the old timers with tech, learn from the past, growing in bags raises soil temperature and increases water use. Ignore the nay sayers, you doing great, people who can or do nothing feed on the failures of other and we that fail learn, cheers to you brother for living the dream

Hi Ryan, Damo and helpful Otis. Wow, everything is coming on really well! By the time that Hugo is the same age as Otis is now, I am sure that you will be almost 100% self sustainable. It is amazing what God can produce with a little help from man. God bless you all, on this, my favourite TH-cam channel 😀❤🙏🙏
Thanks Damo for showing us around the garden and your dad's lovely farm, he seems to have it well figured out! Also, I like that you include some Thai language in the vlogs; I'm learning Thai so I try to listen without peeking at the subtitles! Thanks for the shout out Ryan (You had my last name right the second time around :) I'm Canadian, but my surname is Irish), I'm happy to support this channel, the joy and positivity you and your family brings is priceless. Also, your perseverance in the face of naysayers motivates me to pursue my own goals as well! Thanks and big love :)
Y’all are doing a great job. Those who call you Morons wouldn’t hit a lick at a snake. One thing I have learned watching Homestead Rescue is that you can place a circular saw blade backwards in your saw and cut metal roofing. Works great.
Thank you Ryan for bringing some sanity to this cliched western life I can't seem to bring myself to break away from ... yet. It is the hero's journey and I'm grateful for your generosity to share it.

I have come to love watching you share your life journey. Thank you so much. It is so great to see another view of rural Thai culture. It is inspiring and remarkable to see the common bonds connecting people, such as the very real and essential natural gardening and growing of life-giving sustenance.
I love what you do as a family and how you do it so beautifully every day. 👍🏻🙏🏻❤️ You are an inspiration for life and love! Thank you for that! Stay healthy! I will also be living in Thailand starting in August. Greetings from Germany Floyd.

Hello I been watching your video for a while and I like the way the Chanel evolved thank for sharing your life with us quick question 🙋🏼♂️ where did you buy your green house? I look on lazada but didn’t find…. Thank you
well you have those last plants growing very well, don't harvest them to soon they need 3 or 4 weeks yet.... enjoy another great video, great work, keep on farming.
Hey Ryan I noticed on 1 of the close up of the buds some tiny spider webs, you might have Spider Mites in some of the buds which potentially can ruin the buds?
I like Thai Isan Larb too, but my favorite Thai food is Pad Ka-Prao. Pad Ka-Prao is my favorite because I like Khmer Kroeung, Ka-Prao, Prik Kee Noo and Turmeric. Pad Ka-Prao with 4 eggs topping is the healthiest One Meal A Day (OMAD) dish for me. Your vegetable garden is looking good, but your father in-law's garden is better though...😃
The first ganja plant is defo thai sativa .your looking at easily 15+ weeks upto 25 weeks flowering time .😂😎that is a monster of a plant . When ready that Thai sativa will be a very active heady high . Your CBD plants are an excellent choice very good for stress relieving and some pain issues .if you turn the CBD plants into oil then you infuse into coconut oil for cooking or micro dosing with a drop under the tounge. Love the channel .
Try growing Okra. Loves hot weather and bug disease resistant. Our best crop in Florida. Yiu can grill steam out in a curry. Versatile. Has really pretty blooms to boot.
I would love to see you prepare some Thai food if possible. I love Thai food, but don’t have many recipes. I hear you talking about Laub, but don’t have any idea how to cook it. I would like to Congratulate you both for the birth of Hugo. He looks like he’s very healthy and beautiful.🥰🇨🇦😘
Dammo & Ryan i think your brilliant on what your doing and what a teacher Dammo's father can be to you both and in time you will be teaching your two boys along the way . Love to you all ❤
Whatever it is where you think you are, what you have achieved, keep going. I'm 20 years around here not complaining, but have a lot of appreciation looking at your stories, your views. Keep it going. Wish you all the best.
Professional grower here and I’d say you’re doing a great job with the ganja , The buds look great on the first lot , keep doing what you’re doing , the tall gangly one is a Thai land race , should take around 12-14 weeks to flower , The two small ones indoor look a little yellow , maybe check you’re ph and light distance , definitely keep the air flow going All the best 🙏🏻 , I have some medical clone only CBD plants coming over from Europe I can sort you some clones later this year
Hopefully a build up of the lime juice in the soil will bring the PH down , Bio bizz do a organic one on Lazada 200 baht , Clones won’t be ready until August/September , not suitable for smoking only food and extraction, male is a Swedish hemp plant mother is Charlottes web
I really enjoy your vlogs for a few years now. Lately I find your thumbnails negative ,& I know your vlogs r not negative. They usually have a positive content. Not sure why u r doing that. Keep positive, happy & healthy. From canada
on your outdoor garden greenhouses, is that just green sunscreen mesh ziptied to bamboo supports? So that rain can go through it? I think I might do the same for our garden, because the plants are getting burned in the sun. Like your father in law, the Bugs rampaged my Kale. I was able to gro a bunch last year and it did well, but this latest batch was hammered by cabbage moths i think.
Hope you become mostly self sufficient in veggies one day. For me personally I would concentrate on growing veg that are more expensive (you know the premium ones like babycorn, asparagus, artichoke etc) to buy but should be relatively easy to grow so anything that takes too much space and takes too long grow isn’t going to cut it (esp if they’re too cheap to buy). I prefer veg that provide you with lots of fruiting veg per plant eg tomato, peppers, chillies, green beans, okra, egg plant, zucchini, snow peas (mangetout) and quick growing veg like various leafy veg that requires successional seed sowing. Root vegetables aren’t cost effective I think like carrots or onions. Your bulky brassica like cauliflower, cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts take too long. Nevertheless it is still a good experience to try growing as many different veg as you like to see how you feel about growing them, the time & hassle if you’re ok with it. Part of growing veg is also a hobby I think and the challenge that comes with it. I would personally try honeydew melons to see if it’s possible to grow, thinking water melons are relatively cheap in Thailand or Asia for that matter.
Love the music you choose for your vlogs. You will succeed in your mission to grow veggies. Love watching your vlogs. Hug Otis & Hugo from me. Love to you & Damo.
It always amazes me that people actually get a kick out of people failing some sad sad people I don't really comment much but keep the good work going very inspirational following your dreams 👍
Can you tell me what kind of soil you use for your plants. Im living in Thailand and wanted to start growing. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
That chicken dish with coriander sounds wonderful. I'll by by at 7:00pm for dinner. Thank you for inviting me. :D By the way, a wild life trivia question: Are there any forms of Hummingbirds in Thailand?
Hi Ryan Did you buy seeds online or from local supplier to you enjoy your videos very insparational Damos dad grow his veg in rice fields aswell ? or to salty
Hi guys great video as always. Me and the wife was wondering about your green house as we are just about to build one too in Phichit, we understand why you have fully closed it off to the insect pests but, don't some of the plants need bees and other pollinators to produce fruit etc? Cheers.
Hi o will be covering this in a walk around in the naked guru channel next week, but basically tomatoes and cucumbers will self pollinate - when the pumpkins are big I take them out for pollination 🙏
Ryan you are brilliant at mastering the Thai language, building your home, cultivating your garden, respecting your in-laws. You have 2 lovely children and home schooling your son. Damo is pretty good in English and a good wife and mother. You are a good Christian husband and father. All the very best wishes for the future. Mae from Chattenden Kent

Professional grower here and I’d say you’re doing a great job with the ganja ,
The buds look great on the first lot , keep doing what you’re doing , the tall gangly one is a Thai land race , should take around 12-14 weeks to flower ,

on your outdoor garden greenhouses, is that just green sunscreen mesh ziptied to bamboo supports? So that rain can go through it? I think I might do the same for our garden, because the plants are getting burned in the sun. Like your father in law, the Bugs rampaged my Kale. I was able to gro a bunch last year and it did well, but this latest batch was hammered by cabbage moths i think.
Dad place Amazing 🌹👍
Thank you for watching ka 🙏😊🇹🇭
love your lifestyle.. more people should do the same before it's too late.
Ignore the haters as they are the ones with the problems, keep doing what you are doing Ryan and family it’s where most people would like to be
I am doing the same in Laos in the next few years and your site has been an inspiration
I have just discovered your channel thanks to Paddy Doyle. Totally awesome. Thank you for sharing 👍
Love the music you choose for your vlogs. You will succeed in your mission to grow veggies. Love watching your vlogs. Hug Otis & Hugo from me. Love to you & Damo.

Love the potbellies and the pups sleeping with one was adorable. What is the benefit for a Thai family to have a pot belly as a pet?
Can you tell me what kind of soil you use for your plants. Im living in Thailand and wanted to start growing. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
That chicken dish with coriander sounds wonderful. I'll by by at 7:00pm for dinner. Thank you for inviting me. :D
By the way, a wild life trivia question: Are there any forms of Hummingbirds in Thailand?
Hi Ryan
Did you buy seeds online or from local supplier to you

Honestly dudes once Damo is open to it (as she has enough on her hands) she should def do some ASMR - such a soothing voice - all the best guys
Have a look at Potent Ponics, he's growing in thailand.
Teaches about making free fert and aqua ponics.
He knows his stuff
Ryan you are brilliant at mastering the Thai language, building your home, cultivating your garden, respecting your in-laws. You have 2 lovely children and home schooling your son. Damo is pretty good in English and a good wife and mother. You are a good Christian husband and father. All the very best wishes for the future. Mae from Chattenden Kent
Thank you very much 🙏🙏
