CourageOO7 - the plasti-dip has no issues at all... about 9 months after the bumper videos where I plasti dipped them, I replaced those with aftermarket armor bumpers. They were still as nice as the day I painted them. More impressive, those black wheels my jeep are plasti dipped. They still look as nice as the day sprayed - to this day. And I posted that video over a year ago. This is a weird coincidence because I was gonna do an update video on how well the plasti dip has held up. Thanks man... take care!
Brian, what material was the bumper? I’m thinking about plasti dipping the stock fender flares on a Jeep jk and using glossifier as well. It is white, do you think it would work?
cameron lawson - that bumper back then was stock material same as the fenders... lasted a year with perfect results. Since then I have new bumpers.... but I say spray those stock fender flares...you’ll love it. The wheels I did on this channel are still 💯!!!
I actually really like custom wrap a lot more than plastidip. I feel like it doesn't cover as well in the beginning but once you start getting wet coats on it covers better than platidip and looks better to me. Both are great but I actually am going to use more custom wrap!
GloGang_trap 300 - paint them or plasti-dip them. I got plasti-dip videos on here... it has lasted over a year and still perfect. New painted ones are wayyy overpriced. Bust of luck bruh! Take care.

Adriano Montejo - the match is pretty spot on... the only down side... is the plasti dip has a tiny bit of a rubbery texture so it holds dirt easier and dirt does not fall away from the surface as easy as the hard paint on the car. We had to wash the jeep more often... but not a big deal. Thanks man- take care!

Actually, Coke makes several colas which compete against their own products. I saw twelve packs of Tab on the shelf just last week, and they own several more companies. It's called " a monopoly".
I agree the Dupli-color custom wrap doesn't cover very well I'll try the plasti-dip....Siilly remarks about cocaine... you can't peel off the effects of "yayo" (slang) on a life... it destroys, NO JOKE!

duplicolor has to be applied in very light coats. Lighter the coat the less the run.

Plasti Dip is and always has been made by Duplicolor. They are probably just renaming the same product to appeal to a wider audience.
Plasti Dip is made by Preformix. Created in 1972. Based out of Blaine Minnesota.... Dupli-Color makes there own version called 'custom wrap'.
