Thank you very much! Do you mean the bigger fin on the big board? If so it is a windsurf fin fitted into a mast adaptor to work with the foil board. If you want more info I can get it for you. Let me know! 🤙🤗
Thank you for your Video. I have a question . My background is Windsurfing Over 25 years. Two months ago I took some Wingfoil lesson the Foil startet come out but I still have to learn How to controll the Foil for longer flight. I am very small and very light just 152 cm height and 40 kg light. I Think similar as Diane. I want to get Wingfoilboard and Wing. Do you think 80 Liter Board and 1646 cm2 Foil Front Wing will be ok. I can practice Wingfoil on the sea near by ,the Wind is between 8 to 12 Knoth there . Do you think 5 qm Wing will be the Right one to get the Foil flying? How is Diane experience? The people I talket to said I should get the 5 Qm Wing perhaps 4,5 qm will work also. N.Ebert
Hello, Naruemol, with that background you would have a clear advantage. Just have to get the brain into “wing foil mode”. To get good control of getting up on foil and staying up, it requires hours and hours of attempts and step by step you will make longer and longer flights. Be assured of this. You’ve got this. 80L board and 1646 foil sounds great for learning. If you are 40 kg and 152 cm you are perfect in many ways. And for takeoff with wing foil equipment you have an advantage like Diane has in low wind. Diane is 157cm and has a 5M as her biggest wing but often ride with a 4M. It depends on the conditions where you ride. Where do you ride?
Thank you for your feed back . I live in Germany near by Frankfurt ,for practice wingfoiling we have the small sea (58 hectares ) just 5 km away. For windsurfing In Summer I spend my holiday at lake Garda in Italy and in autumn in Egypt for some weeks. My philosophy ist just get out and enjoy every single time. You and Diane are my inspiration and also for many people in the community. It is very important that you documented all the learning process. It is authentic so we can see that is normal to struggle and make a lot of mistakes. The most important point is to have fun ,stick on it and never give up.
Very true! You make the best of what you have. And to have fun every single time! If you have some gear you want me to look at? Send me a WhatsApp message. My number is at the end of the description of the videos.
Hi Fredric. Love all your videos. Where do you get the starboard drake fin with the adaptor from? Thanks, James
