Bunnyshooter 223 right on ; evo is a great engine . Hd mechanic I know prefers them . Less electronics .My daughter says my shovelhead sounds better than my twin cams . My twin cam really woke up with the cam I installed. I believe the stock cam is an epa thing . Well I heard the m8 had a whistle with aftermarket pipes . I would love to get a m8 .I am kinda partial to the softail slim .
I have the V&H Bigshots on our '05 Dyna Wide Glide and they sound damn good but I think something about the fuel injected models just doesn't sound the same as the carbureted. I think the computer meters the fuel shut-off when you let go of the throttle in between shifts or something, it doesn't have the same throaty rumble like the carbureted ones do for some reason, close but not the same.
I own a 1992 fxsts (evo) with 89,678 miles and she still runs like a swiss watch.. Awesome engine..
I Ride a 1992 FLSTC since 1995 . My EVO have "130.000 " Miles in the clock with Out troubles !!! - but now have to make Engine .... I love this Bike
