    What I like to know is what makes older Harley engine fire rhythmic which seem close ignition timing in a group with longer pause between each set of ignition

    Hi Sir, I would like to say that this is the most complete video I have ever seen about all The Harley Engines. Here are some things I noticed that you might have missed: 1)There were 3 Shovelhead Engines: the slabside shovel 66-69 then the 74 Shovel, then the 80" Shovel 2) The EVO only came in an 80" size all other bigger EVOs are aftermarket 3) you missed The 110 TC 4) You missed the single Piston BUELL 5)You missed The Harley MT Military Dirt Bike 6) The Flathead Twin also came in size 80" upto year 1973 in the Servicar. 7) You missed The 60cc and 90CC SHORTSTERS Thank you sir, Kenny from Brooklyn

    The Evo was a 80 CI... not 82. Just as well as the higher shovel displacement.

    I was surprised you didn’t include the 500 cc single HD made for the Buell Blast, probably the least expensive American made HD engine you can still find… oh yeah, everyone is trying to Forget the Blast including Eric Buell

    Hello Sir,..... could you please tell me if the radial bank aircraft engine inspired the H.D. V twin design?

    • @RevelatorAlf

      Heard the 1909 "LeRoahn" radial bank aircraft engine inspired the harley davidson V-twin?

    I wonder if the Milwaukee Eight unit will be the last major big twin air cooled engine before emissions force HD to go fully water cooled. I know the M8 is partly oil cooled or oil/water cooled in the touring units. But will this be the last big twin as we know them.

    • @RevelatorAlf
      @RevelatorAlf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well perhaps so. They have worked on another engine but whether that will ever be released? I suppose also it depends on regulations and how the electric market develops in the next few years too

    • @FranBunnyFFXII
      @FranBunnyFFXII 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The M8 complies with future Euro5 regulations, so it's likely to last the test of time until the world is forced to drop gasoline engines entirely.

    • @philiproberts6947
      @philiproberts6947 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FranBunnyFFXII that's what I was getting at,will this be it untill untill they have to produce something completely different to comply with emissions.
      Apparently the UK is going to ban the petrol and diesel engine by 2035 which isn't that far away.
      I myself am looking forward to what the next 15 years brings in transport. It's crazy to think my daughter's who are 4 years old may never drive or ride anything with an internal combustion engine.
      When engines cease to be made I wonder if clean old cars and bikes will go up in value once they cease to be made.
