Thanks love this comment! As soon as people start talking about power meters and watts and all that I usually tune out. Its how the bike feels that matters..... unless your a pro racer 🤣
It's funny that you mentioned you could have pushed faster with the Diverge. I found the Diverge felt more laid back and a bit numb vs the Crux which was livelier and encouraged me to rip it.
Yes I agree with this statement unless the trail is really rough. The Crux can be pushed faster overall, but on really rough sections that numb laid back feeling allows you to push really fast and still feel safe.
Thanks for the video 👍🏽, Think you’re spot on….i have a Diverge w/3.0 future shock and ceramic bb and hubs! When the trail gets rough n fast the Diverge is right at home! not to mention all the other wonderful the bike does!!
My Crux is 18.5 LBs with Pedals and the Diverge is 20.5 LBs. About a two pound difference between both. But the Crux is much higher end build. You could definitely lighten up the Diverge easily.
Yes tire test is the next focus, riding exclusively 42s on all the bikes. Tire choice is as important as bike choice when deciding on a gravel bike. Thanks for the feedback.
I like this comparison, way more genuine than GCN does science.

@2_Pedals 💯
Good timing as I'm looking at both!
Thanks, have a long term comparison of both bikes coming out soon. Both are great options.
@ nice. Can the diverge take bigger tyres

Appreciate it! 3.0 Future shock, curious how that rides in comparison to the others. I honestly didn't know they even had a 3.0 🤣
@@2_Pedals I recommend its %100!! The 2.0 is too soft, I also went with 44 t front ring 👍🏽 I love my Diverge✌🏽
Enjoyed your commentary. I’ve had two Crux’s for CX. What’s the weight difference?

Had been more interesting if you used the same tires on both bikes. Now its more a test of tires.
