I own the 6’8” modfun. Bought it this summer. These are light, strong, maneuverable, and durable. I’d classify myself as an experienced intermediate level surfer. I have used short and long boards of various brands, mostly pop outs and some custom shapes. My surfing buddies ,who live at the shore year round, swear by them, they own a Torq longboard. The Torqs are a step up from the ubiquitous Bics...perhaps not as tough, but they are lighter and they can certainly offer a better ride. They are overall, good boards.

I surfed overhead and hollow waves with a 7'4" Mod Fun v+ . I think the 6'8" will perform even better.

i would recommend mod fun. It should perform better on larger waves. Very old comment btw, what did you chose finally?

Hi There afraid not its really a thruster board

This board works GREAT in a twin set up. Id recommend using an upright keel fin for more hold

Get a Bic board instead, it's less expensive and you'll get what you pay for, but it's still decent.

@@caitlinhamby1289 You could also get a Wavestorm in the USA, or Olaian if you're in EU. They're beginner friendly boards, and relatively cheap. They are really entry level though, and you'll outgrow it quite fast (skill wise).
Always go for second hand though! :D
