If I am correct as far as what you are referring to the part you are talking about is to hokd the cord into the camera itself. You screw the bracket into tge bottom of the camera, insert the cord, then slide the bracket over the ebd of the cord then tighten. The cord cant accidently come out once its in place. I’m trying to figure out how to mount the hardware that you came with your solar panel instructions are poor video is poor I wanna know how to mount this with the bracket I had to guess how to do it I use the mounting screw that’s with it I think but the bracket actually doesn’t get very tight it’s loose just trying to figure out if I’m doing this correctly why would you not show how to mount the actual bracket that comes with it in your instructions or on your video? when you put the wingnut on to the bracket to the solar panel does not tighten up bracket is still real loose
Do you have to physically turn on the solar panel once plugged into the camera before the camera will see power from the panel? If so I guess I will be needing to make a trip back to my camera.
No you don’t! the 12V External Solar Panel only powers its own built-in lithium battery. Batteries or Lithium Cartridges installed in your camera function as backup power in the event that the External Solar Panel becomes drained.
@@RevealbyTactacam and if we have alkaline AAs in the cam while using the lithium pack solar panel then what “battery type” should we choose in the app on the camera setup options? Thank you
OK, now you’re showing us how to install it, but you didn’t. You didn’t show us the piece that you put together and fast into the back of the solar panel. I installed the wingnut and it still tilts back-and-forth and it also came with another little gadget with a wingnut, and it doesn’t even show in the manual

Are you running batteries in camera also or just solar panel??
We always recommend back up batteries in the camera!

Customer service is awful
It's a solar charger. It's not rocket science. Why would you need customer servic?
