What Eric said below... I've been fishing offshore for a decade+, but the last few years equipment needs have skyrocketed. Brian and Matt are great to deal with - excellent prices, super-fast shipping (I'm in NY, no problems at all) and they are always there if I have a question.

Awesome to see these videos- keep them coming. We are fairly new to offshore and buy all our supplies, bait, and equipment from Matt. Can't say enough good things about him. Prices are very fair and his assistance and guidance are priceless. Thanks Matt!

Excellent Video. My Friend bought me a No 32 Size Planer (sigh) - It's very big AND Heavy - WOW! Currently my trolling rod I've rigged for planers is fitted with 80lb Braid and my leader is 100ft of 100lb monofilament leader (or 60lb Fluorocarbon). However, I can just imagine the force and pressure that's going to be exerted on the No 32 size is going to be TREMENDOUS...Somehow I believe that the 80lb braid is too light. Is it? or should I use a higher test braided main line, 100 or 200lb??? Thank you in advance.

      Hello Sunil,
Thanks for your kind words. We would recommend 200lb for use with that #32 planer. It's definitely a lot of strain on your gear.

Hi, I had two of your bridle but lost one of them, the clinch know I made at one end failed. What knot do you recommend to tie the swivel of the briddle to the main line ? I had a 80lb tiagra set outfit with 80 lb line on it. I did not loose the Biddle nor thenplaner only the drone spoon Then the second time, I had to put quite sa log of drag in order not to have the line slip away with the waves, a big wahoo hit and my line snapped, loosing the briddle, the planer and the lure?. How would you recommend me attaching everything to avoid this from happening again ? I was using clinch knots. Thank you !
