  • My personal insight on what it’s like to go to Air Force SERE school. I went in 2003 and it was the single best training I had gotten in my military career. Please comment like and subscribe.

    Outlaw, thank you for keeping your integrity in regards to the NDA. I left as a TSgt and have tons of respect for you alone, just due to how you handled this informative video.

      This is me from my other page. I appreciate the words man. The military and aircrew specifically to me, was an honor. So I’d never destroy the sanctity of what resistance training was at its core. I want those that go to experience for themselves. It’s not for me to explain. Cheers bud.

    Just stumbled over your video - I remember going through SERE at Fairchild and it sucked ass but man what amazing training in retrospect. Memories! I retired from the Air Force Dec ‘21

      Yeah the training is probably the best real world preparation for what will actually go on in a hostage or POW situation. I look back and think it really made me proud to have gotten thru it. Congrats on your retirement. I retired in Sep 2012.

    Thanks for posting this, I really wanted to be a loadmaster when I was initially trying to join but got fixated on TACP and ultimately ended up in a maintenance career field. I’m grateful for the way things have turned out but a part of me has always wished I could’ve gone through the life changing training that is SERE. Knowing what I now know about the schoolhouse, I have a whole other level of respect for POWs and the MIA along with their flag.

      Of course man!!! The best part is you are IN the Air Force. And there are no cons to military service. And I can attest that SERE is a life changing experience. I felt more prepared than I could’ve been after graduating. I’m glad u liked the video my man!!!!! Aim high.

      I had the same problem fuk sustanon. I stick with test cyp when I was using it it gave me real bad cramps and pain around my prostate. I just didn’t react well to system and I think there’s just too much going on there.

    Hey outlaw I have 2 questions, the first one is would you stay in as a loadmaster for upwards to 12 years or do you think it would be better to take an officer job after you become the loadmaster trainers. The second question is what plane in your opinion would be the best for being a loadmaster for light workload but tons of travel?

    • @Outlawv21992
      @Outlawv21992  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tons of travel would be 130. C5/c17 are big airplanes so “light workload” ain’t gonna happen. We work hard asf but the rewards are amazing. I mean being an officer pays more but then you won’t be a “loadmaster” which is half the fun.

    What equipment did you have with you when you were evading?

    • @Outlawv21992
      @Outlawv21992  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      By the time you are evading which is later on in the navigation portion of the training, equipment was limited. You have a cooking kit (hot cup, spoon, etc). By that time I had already run out of MRE's. In your pack you have your sleeping mat, a sleeping bag, changes of clothes like BDU's, socks, undershirts, underwear. If you took anything with you from your original camp like 550 cord, parachute sections, small tools like a leatherman etc.... All up to what you want to carry. Cause every pound of gear is another pound of gear you gotta hump up them hills.... So you are pretty limited.

    I wanna join as a loadmaster, does sere training actually train you in every environment or just in the woods ? Because I would like to do it in every environment

    • @Outlawv21992
      @Outlawv21992  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You are solely trained in a mountainous environment in Washington. Whether or not that includes cold weather depends on when you go cause in Washington state there is plenty of snow in the winter and early spring months. The only way to attend ALL the environments is to become a SERE instructor. They do all the environments that the military offers as a whole, even with joint services.
