Awwww Kay, you really have the kindest soul & nature & its lovely to see. I find as im getting older (im61) im not as active therefore i dont need to eat as much, i go by the EAT TO LIVE, NOT LIVE TO EAT rule, so i tend to have brunch more often than not & tea between 5.30-6pm, i try not to eat much later than that as it sits heavy for me or i get heartburn! Like you said its what works best for you. Im not into gyms & like you said its hard to get motivated when the weather is like this!!! I came across a chap on youtube called Rick Bhullar who do walking workouts to get your steps in, they have great music & so much fun you dont feel like your exercising......give him a go when you feel like you want to do something but cant be arsed to go out to gym or for a walk... Plus hes easy on the eye too! 👍🏻 🤭. Have a lovely week hun. Love your videos 😍x

I've wanted to start working on my health for a while but always struggled to keep motivated and one 'bad' day would throw everything off. Seeing your journey and having someone being honest about everything involved has honestly been so helpful. You have helped to inspire and motivate me in this lifestyle shift and I'm so grateful, so thank you. It's nice to see days as days, not good or bad, and the best thing about a day is that there's a new one tomorrow.

You're a true gem, Kay. Thanks so much for your honesty, and words of wisdom. I've been in a rough place the past several months due to some heart.breaking family stuff. Been feeling like I'm treading water a lot lately; and like it'll be this way indefinitely. I'll be fifty this year, and I thought my life would look different. Thank you for the reminder that things can look differently, with time (and effort). That being stuck doesn't have to be permanent (physically - or mentally). You're very right about that. I bet you're a wonderful life coach. Blessings to you.

Definitely felt the same the other day, its quite ironic how you said everything that I felt & I try to walk everyday when I'm off & the ither day I didn't feel like I wanted to go, but I had other things I needed to do, I felt guilty all day though for not going, where as today, I've been walking even in the rain & snow & now I'm going to jump in the bath! I'm the priority today! So self care for me day! Really enjoy your vlogs - can I ask where you got the red Thai pack from? Please xx

I’ve been struggling since I let my guard down last July after I lost 80 pounds literally came 5 pounds within my goal. But my plan was to eat the week of the 4 th while at beach but anyway been struggling most of the time since then. I’m up 30 pounds but every single day I try to get back on track. Also Christmas was very difficult. But I’ll make it I just get so overwhelmed with anxiety when I mess up. Good luck!

Your orange juice looks so good but I have learned to avoid drinking my calories in juices and eat the 🍊 orange for the benefit of the fiber and satiation factor. I too struggle with black coffee because for years I had both cream and sugar 🥴 and I do treat myself once in awhile but I am finally enjoying my coffee just black. It’s hard to stick to our goals at times but I like your attitude towards it. Kind of like ... if you fall off the horse, just get up, brush yourself off and get back on! Thanks for sharing all your ideas on what works for you and what doesn’t!

Hello there. Love, love, love your videos, especially the ones around food or the kittens. I'd suggest eating a whole orange, rather than just having the juice. That way you get fibre along with the carbs. But maybe you have trouble with fibre. Only you know what works best for you, so this was just a mild suggestion. ❤

Maybe try Splenda instead of sugar? Or try matcha green tea? The oj may have just as much sugar as the coffees w sugar honestly. But there’s always orange sparkling water or real oranges blended up w a little water. I used to even slightly dilute my oj. Thanks for this, great video as always! Side note, I appreciate you being so open and real about binge eating. I find too many restrictions make food like the forbidden fruit and then I could be tempted to overeat.

I also feel better eating a low-carb diet but I can't do keto it's just too much protein and I need some carbs! I don't know if you have it in the UK but we have Barilla protein Plus pasta here and it's amazing it's got chickpeas and I think half the amount of wheat but it really does make me feel better and my husband's a diabetic and he can actually eat this pasta because it doesn't make your sugar go up and it doesn't make you insulin resistance which is a big part of the metabolic mess the world is in! Since I love pasta so much at least I don't feel deprived! Love this video more like this one please!

Kay thank you for a wonderful video. I definitely needed the reminder to not push to much and listen to my body. I can definitely resonate with this video. I do most of what you mentioned on the eating and exercise bits. Balance is what I am trying to find so I am experimenting with different ways of eating. I did cut out gluten and white sugar too! That helps with the Hashimoto/Hypothyroiditis. Yup, I follow my body’s feelings on exercise. So far so good. Definitely gathered more inspiration from you today !!! Many thanks 🙏🏻 keep doing what you vlog! I love all your choices of filming. I use to have chatterbox cats when I would be talking on the phone, they would pipe up with the meowing 😂. I think Rory pipes up when he hears you vloging. They are both adorable and it’s so nice to hear your real life, Rory’s too! 😂 🥰😍🥰😍🥰xx

Thanks so much for sharing your ups & downs with me! I too struggle to keep my metabolism going because I generally don’t eat three meals daily. For some reason, I have always skipped breakfast unless I’m going out for it. Then, lunch comes after 1:00 pm and tea is also late, like 7:00 pm so my body has become accustomed to it. I had struggled with extra weight I could no longer carry - I have spinal stenosis, peripheral neuropathy and celiac disease, but now my body seems to be leveling out (I’m also a 58 yr. old Gran). I love a good curry myself and yours looked gorgeous! I lol’d when you said you love garlic because being Cuban, that is our go to spice (wonder if you have any Cuban blood 🤣). Sending love & big hugs to you sweet Kay 🥰❤️❌⭕️🤗🙋🏻‍♀️

My health was declining after 5 years of being a strict vegan and I wanted to let go of food rules. I eat a variety but personally my digestion is better at digesting animal protein and fats than lots of fibre and carbs from plants which always leaves me bloated.

Hello Kay as in line with the Community guidelines I have only ever been anything but respectful and kind to yourself and any other TH-camr.
So my question again is please help me understand the reason for why your cats are kept on leads I promise you this is nothing other than a puzzling enquiry.
I have asked a few times now on your account whether you’ve seen my questions or not I really don’t know because I know you have an awful lot of followers which is lovely but I’ve also asked people that I know in my own little social circle of friends who have cats as to the rationale of putting a cat on a lead when normally it will only be a dog that by law requires a leash . To which every single one of them replied with a dumbstruck face and a “ no idea”. Which needlessly to say has only increased my curiosity by a 100 fold !
So really hoping you are able to put me out of my misery!
With so much loving and many blessings and thanks….Nicola from Cheshire xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi lovely, sorry I didn't get to read your other messages. If they were on instagram new messages go to my requests folder which has over 200+ messages in not including my actual inbox. I try to reply to them but it takes a lot of time and energy. 🙈
Did you watch my last video about the cats? I addressed this in that video and do in most where I share about the cats. th-cam.com/video/IHbNtLe38A8/w-d-xo.html We live on a busy road, they are house cats and aren't bred to be outside (they don't have an undercoat so get cold quickly) plus our garden isn't secure. They are also an expensive breed and at risk of being stolen and sold by awful people. So we put them on a harness to keep them safe and to allow them to explore outside, most of the time Ragdolls are indoor cats only. Thank you for asking in a kind way and I hope this puts your mind at ease. x

Eliminating processed foods all together and especially sugar that wasn't natural like honey or fruit really broke that cravings cycle for me. Sugar is such an addictive thing.
