Evening walk in Essen, Germany [4K, 60fps] | Essen Original Festival 2023

Welcome to my walking tour of Essen, Germany.
Essen used to be famous for its coal and steel industries. It played a big role in making Germany an industrial powerhouse. The city has transformed a lot over the years. It went from being all about factories to becoming a green and environmentally-friendly city. In fact, it was even named the European Green Capital in 2017!
I started the walk at Stadtpark (City Park), a really peaceful park right in the middle of the city. I passed by the Philharmony, a renowned concert hall known for its exceptional acoustics. From there, I headed towards Bahnhof, the central railway station. Next, I made my way to the city center, where the Essen Original Festival was happening. Essen Original Festival is an annual event that is all about food, music and culture of Essen. As I walked around the city center, I passed three big squares: Burgplatz, Kennedyplatz and Kopstadtplatz. There were located the three musical stages of the festival.
I end my walk at Kirchengemeinde St. Gertrud, the old Synagogue and a super cool rock cafe called Turock.
