Wow! My order arrived yesterday, applied it on carpet, rubber mats, doors, vegan leather and every nook and cranny on the Interior of my brand New Tesla Model Y black interior. Super easy to apply and level the product. Phenomenal product, can’t wait to get my detailer to do a maintenance wash and see for himself how awesome the product is. Might even hook him up with a bottle. Great job guys, love watching your videos
Great tutorial, guys! Recently purchased this product to use on my wife's RAV4 and my Mazda6. Looks like a fantastic product! Thanks for the demo - always helps me to be more confident when I've seen it done.
Really would love to try interior ceramic but the price point for the bottle is not feasible for me. I’ll keep an eye out if it ever goes on sale. Thanks for the great video.
There are some codes out there to get 10% it’s worth the money if you consider how it protects your interior !! Rinseless10 in check out go buy it and try it
From someone who has tried many different interior coatings, there is tremendous value in this bottle for the fact that you can apply it to leather, trim and textiles instead of buying 3 different products at $50 each.
I just recently started watching these detailing videos, and in this short period of time, l have already watched hours and hours of your DIY videos, and l have learned so much. It is not only educational but also very entertaining. What makes me stick around, apart from your obvious knowledge about the subject, is the fun factor you guys bring to your videos. You two fit as well together as Penut Butter and Jelli or Bacon and Eggs, and that is one of the reasons why l enjoy your channel so much. I have decided to use your product, but now l just have to find out if I can get your product in Vanvouver Canada or if l have to order it online 😮 Thanks for sharing all your knowledge 😊
Thank you, detailing should be fun. Here’s our list of distributors, in BC we don’t currently have any physical locations. Https://diydetail.com/pages/distributors
I never would have thought of using panel prep here but it makes sense so kudos. Interior ceramic to me looks very forgiving. I notice Yvan applies a fair amount to the applicator as he goes and it really lasts. But it levels very easily. Something I tell everyone with ceramic is that the better you maintain it the longer it lasts. And for the bottle size its phenomenal. Last thing, I like that you relate to us, you have children and families and you stand with your brand. So I'll say 100% thank Nick later lol and definitely invest in the Interior ceramic, it pays itself off after the first application
Hello guys, I bought your kits. I’m just a bit confused in what order I’m supposed to go to clean my seats. I have a 2024 Lexus NX350 F SPORT with the Circuit Red NuLuxe interior. They’re lightly dirty since I’ve had the car almost for a year now. There’s this small black spot I have on the arm rest of the passenger’s window. The bottles I have are Interior Ceramic, Interior Clean & Protect, Panel Prep, All Wash I got from the Interior Protection kit bundle. Thanks!
Great Video. I have never used before, but think I will. I do have a QUESTION though. On my leather seats, I usually condition them with a quality leather conditioner. Can I still do that? If I can do I do before or after ceramic?
Great full demo of the interior ceramic. I just coated a brand new interior as well. Used the rinseless Wash method. I did not think of using the panel prep.
Few questions as I plan on doing this in next few weeks. 1. Using interior clean + protect as normal cleaning maintenance. Should I use panel prep before ceramic interior coating? 2. Any microfiber cloth to level it? What about DIY leveling towels?
It's good to use Panel Prep before Interior Ceramic, but not necessary. You can also use Rinseless Wash. Our Ceramic Coating leveling towel is excellent to level Interior Ceramic: bit.ly/CoatingLevelingTowel
Really great video guys!! I’ve been searching for ceramic options since I’ll be taking delivery on a 2024 C8 Corvette shortly. Between you and Pan The Organizer I’m convinced that your product line is for me. Question……Following the interior ceramic application, what maintenance regiment on a regular basis, i.e. cleaning, etc do you recommend? Thanx Dr Bob
I have a Bronco Sport Outerbanks being built tomorrow December 19th and those seats have three types of materials on the seats. I originally bought this product for these seats but I had to try it out first. This is one of those rare products which hits way above its weight. I have used this product on several vehicles and it is very consistent. For the next maintenance clean DIY Rinseless is all you need before laying down further protection with DIY interior detailer. The interior cleaner smells great too in my opinion.
Hi guys, I used the red foam applicator yesterday to apply Interior Ceramic. Are those foam applicators 1 use and then for the trash? Or can they be saved and used multiple times? Ty.
Hi Guys, thank you for the post. What is the least aggressive option? Panel prep or rinseless? Also, once in a while you mention leaving tips. I found a very thin foam and microfiber circular pad. I used to apply cleaner and protectant with something just like you are using. I am in no way saying I am right, and I have never done ceramic on an interior (just ordered) but have found the applicator (the circular one mentioned) to be very helpful in tight spots. Also helpful with not squeezing out product when at a pincpoint like where the windshield meets the dashboard. I don't know how to post just a picture here but will find some way of showing you what I'm referring to. I just like something as thin as possible with interiors to be in control of application without squeezing out too much. You mentiond highspots, so I assume that can happen even with the interior ceramic. I'm looking forward to applying it to my new car. Of course before I sell someone on it.
I like applying a short term color-darkening protectant to my interior like 303 or optimum protectant plus. If I have this ceramic coating on, will those products still bond to the surface?
The only question I have is after your done using the Interior Ceramic can you wash the microfiber towels and applicator pad and reuse or should you discard them? Thanks for your reply.
how long will ceramic gloss and quick beads last? and how many wash’s will they hold up to. i’ve tried many sealants from companies and when it rains it the sealants will just take a big hit and have flat water behavior and will get basically removed with a PH neutral soap. hawaii definitely puts products to the test. thank you!!
Completely unrelated question but I’ve always been a little confused about Yvan saying that while soap feels slick, it’s not actually that lubricating. Could you elaborate on this a little bit? Thanks!
What our fingers feel and what the paint experiences are sometimes very different. Water is a solvent, and with a soap wash the last action before drying is removing all the soap and replacing it with water. Unfortunately many soaps on the market contain sugar or salt as fillers to boost sudsing. These again are far from being successful lubrication. Our DIY Detail Incredible Suds doesn’t contain those fillers, so in our case it does provide a safe level of lubrication until you rinse it off.
Hey DIY Detail! I saw the Interior Ceramic on your video with Pan the Organizer. Just wondering if this would be safe to use on mid-2000’s Porsche trim (soft-touch paint that’s super sensitive to scratches and chemicals)? My dealership just dissolved the paint on the steering wheel multi function buttons by trying to clean them after service. 🤦♀️ Not sure what they used, but I’ve only used a dry or slightly damp microfiber myself. They’ve ordered me a new one. Also, would your either the Panel Prep or Rinseless be safe for cleaning the trim? Thanks in advance for your time and expertise!
Amazing stuff. Just bought a bottle for my new truck when it arrives. I do have one question: Can I use my Adam's or Geyon Q²M prep instead of panel prep?
Great video, exactly what I was looking for! Just bought a new car that I will be applying your interior ceramic coating to. Quick question, I wash my cars roughly about once a week, and polish/wax twice a year. Ideally I would only like to apply the interior ceramic no more than twice year. What are your recommendations for maintenance cleanings without eroding the ceramic protection in between the applications. BTW, I will probably video me doing this on my channel. Thanks!!
I really like how you both have applied this product and verbally discussed it as you went along sharing vital application points along the way. Kudos! I just want to see how hydrophobic it is incase of a spill. Secondly, the leather bolsters can they be layered? Say, if i wait an hour between each layer will it improve the level of protection from abrasion? Since its so cost effective, i would plan on coating the higher contact points and areas more frequently, so in your estimation for a car that does 6000miles a year (not much at all) would you say every season for those high abrasion areas be a good plan? Less or more maybe?
You can absolutely layer, wait an hour. And re apply as often as you wish! High traffic areas once every 6 months or so isn’t a bad plan at all. But like you said you get so much product so might as well especially if it’s your personal car
I applied the interior ceramic coating to some panels and was not able to wipe off as I was called to a family emergency. It sat about 16 hours. What should I do? Thanks
Protection lasts about a year for the drivers seat, longer on the rest. Durability is variable because of how people use their cars. Most pro’s will be around $250 and up.
Hey Guys! What is the difference between interior ceramic and ceramic gloss other than one being applied outside and the other being applied outside. Thank you!
I have to do an interior coating on a 2024 denali on Monday. It has a few wood accents on the interior. Should I avoid getting diy detail interior ceramic on the wood accents?
After applying. I wiped it off but it still seems to look shiny. I really had to apply a lot of pressure. Will it eventually dry looking matte/oem finish?
1. My brother applied this on my dash and I think he forgot to level it and there are many high spots now. It has been a few days. How can I fix that ? 2. Also there are a little bit on the bottom of the windshield and now it fogs. How can I remove that from the windows?
it would add some for sure, but on vegan white Tesla leather for example...I would apply as soon as you get the car and re apply often. blue jean transfer can be really tricky on those seats
I have a question, I may have missed this in the comments, but, I have a 2017 gmc sierra and I noticed that the video in titled NEW CAR, but is the prep and application process the same and if not what should be done with an older vehicle that still looks good since I take care of it and has no cracking, but I would like to still keep it protected. also, interior is leather (if there is such a thing now a days) and I know from a lot of videos people say they come with a coating already applied from the factory that makes the material, how does this effect how you treat it with your product. thanks a bunch for the education over the years from both of you, I have learned a lot since my 20 year gap of being out of the business.
So I may have missed it but what all surfaces can this be applied to? I saw nick apply it to the rear view mirror so can it be applied to glass as well? Even tint? I know textiles, plastics, pleather but what else?
Not advised to do interior clean and protect and then directly apply interior ceramic. But if you’ve used it on that surface in the past? Sure, just use panel prep wipe down first to prep surface for interior ceramic 👍
A quick follow-up question: on a particularly dirty interior, would you use All Clean instead of the Rinseless wash in your prep cleaning before applying the ceramic?
I use a leather care product to condition my seats as they are over 5 years old. would it be safe to use this product right after for extra protection?
Yes, but you will not get much durability from it. DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating needs to be applied to clean dry service. For best results, clean your leather, apply DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating, allow it to cure a week, then apply your conditioner.
Barely any, we coat floor mats all the time. Try it on a passenger mat and test it before you coat the drivers mat to make sure it feels safe for you 👍
1. How often or how long does the interior ceramic coat last? 2. I’m mostly interested in the UV blocking properties on FL sun on leather dash and door cards/panels.
On heavy wear items like the drivers seat apply yearly, door cards etc it can last the lifetime of the vehicle. Ideally if it’s UV protection your seeking, once a month or more cleaning your interior with DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect will enhance the UV Protection.
if you're using Interior Ceramic (or our exterior ceramic coatings) you can put the towels in a bucket with Rinseless Wash or All Clean to soak before washing them
@@diydetailofficial OK thanks. Just to be clear I don't believe previous coatings were ceramic but some other product. So Panel Prep is not required? I thought I had heard on another vid that if there was the potential for other products having been applied, Panel Prep was recommended???
You don't have to. I throw my ceramic coating towels in a bucket of water with a few ounces of APC, then when the job is done, launder as usual. Cheers!
6 months and up. On high traffic areas like a daily driven seat 6 months is expected, on areas like the dash and door panels that don’t get touched, several years.
you wouldn't want to top it same day, but after that you could use your leather or vinyl dressing of choice. My recommendation would be interior clean and protect from DIY Detail:)
Two jeep related questions 1. What do I carry with me for interior bird bombs? Waterless? Diluted rinseless? 2. I used interior ceramic coating on all the plastic that is only exposed when the roof is off. After I did it I was thinking maybe I should have used an exterior product. What's the best thing to use?
Do you have safety report of this coatings ? I am worried about long term toxicity exposure of the coating and health hazard of inhaling fumes created in car during hot weather…

It would be cool to have a house cleaning video using var cleaning products.
Not a bad idea:) thanks!
Does interior ceramic have UV protection? Doesn’t really say in the website
Yes it leaves UV protection.
Does the interior ceramic can protect against die transfer?
Yes
Hey guys, are my cloths and applicator still reusable after using this on the interior or do I have to throw it away?
Soak in your wash bucket for 15mins when done.
@@diydetailofficial Perfect thank you!
Can you wash and reuse the towels you used to apply as long as you wash the towel right away? I have rags to riches detergent
if you're using Interior Ceramic (or our exterior ceramic coatings) you can put the towels in a bucket with Rinseless Wash or All Clean to soak before washing them
In an older car where other coatings may have been applied, is Rinseless Wash all that is needed to prep for Interior Ceramic? Thanks
If they no longer perform, yes
@@diydetailofficial OK thanks. Just to be clear I don't believe previous coatings were ceramic but some other product. So Panel Prep is not required? I thought I had heard on another vid that if there was the potential for other products having been applied, Panel Prep was recommended???
For a dressing yes
@@diydetailofficial Thank you get it now....dressing vs coating....yeah it was a coating previously applied
How much do you apply on carpets?
Enough to get it damp
How often do you have to apply it?
Once a year, or every 6 months in high traffic areas
Every 2-3 years, more frequently on the drivers seat.
Hi can I use normal ceramic coating on car screen?
You can use our interior ceramic, can’t speak for other brands
@diydetailofficial thanks. I did meant interior ceramic I was talking about normal ceramic coating that apply on car paint
Why wouldn’t you use interior clean and protect instead of panel prep?
It leaves a little protection behind . That protection will prevent the DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating from bonding properly to the substrate.
@@diydetailofficial Will the original ONR be ok to clean with before application?
Can you use the on Tesla vegan leather? I have colourlock vegan leather cleaning kit. Color is Snow White.
Yes, you definitely can, and should
I've used on mine!
Excellent, thank you!
My interior kind of dirty and dusty. Should I use all clean then ceramic or all clean then panel prep then ceramic?
Rinseless is the best option before DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating
How long does it last before you need to reapply?
It’s abrasion dependant. On the drivers seat of a daily driver, expect 6-12 months. The rest of the car expect years
@@diydetailofficial thanks for your quick reply. Do you send to Australia?

@diy detail how is the VOCs with this? Any need to wear respiratory or allow interior to air out?
If you’re in a well vented shop, no need, but a respirator is never a bad idea
How long will it take for the smell to wear off?
About 15-30 mins
Do you have to discard the towels after interior ceramic?
You don't have to. I throw my ceramic coating towels in a bucket of water with a few ounces of APC, then when the job is done, launder as usual. Cheers!
No, your towels and applicator can be reused if you immerse them in your wash bucket before the ceramic cures.
What's the carrier for the "ceramic" ?
It’s solvent based
Why would you not use it on the headliner?
You can, but headliners are very sensitive to moisture and pressure.
And what is the longevity of this interior ceramic?
6 months and up. On high traffic areas like a daily driven seat 6 months is expected, on areas like the dash and door panels that don’t get touched, several years.
Can you apply dressing after it cures?
If you feel the need, yes.
@@diydetailofficial sweet! Thank you guys! I'm wanting to buy this and try it out. Im trying out the art of detailing and would love to use this!
Excellent.
Will this make my all weather floor mats slippery?
No
What can you top this off with?
you wouldn't want to top it same day, but after that you could use your leather or vinyl dressing of choice. My recommendation would be interior clean and protect from DIY Detail:)

Good job 👍
Thank you
If I start a detailing my company motto will be:
"Your car may not be clean, but your mirrors and seats will be in the same place when I'm done!"
😂
For some customers, that enough not to use a detailer again.
Two jeep related questions
1. What do I carry with me for interior bird bombs? Waterless? Diluted rinseless?
2. I used interior ceramic coating on all the plastic that is only exposed when the roof is off. After I did it I was thinking maybe I should have used an exterior product. What's the best thing to use?
Diluted DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash will be better for interior bird bombs.
DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating is great for those.
Do you have safety report of this coatings ? I am worried about long term toxicity exposure of the coating and health hazard of inhaling fumes created in car during hot weather…
Once cured, it’s completely inert.
Great timing gents. Ive got a new car and a bottle of your interior ceramic on the way!
Excellent! What car?
Another awesome video. Keep them coming.
@@diydetailofficial Taycan Cross Turismo.
Wow, cool car!
Will the Gallon size be on sale
Good question, we’re still testing it in the gallon size to see how the gallon jug and interior ceramic play together
Can i apply this to my wife's handbags 👜?
Yes, many people apply it to shoes as well.
