Throwing in a real-world good review for interior clean & protect. It smells great, cleans gently and safely, leaves a natural finish and does not attract dust. Love it!
Top shelf for sure on my end! Cleans amazingly well compared to others on the market! Amazing scent and I like that faint satin sheen leaves behind. I have a whole gallon on my shelf. Those interior towels are great for windows my wife loves them to clean windows. I will be buying more of those interior towels.
Between a normal order and my Black Friday order, I somehow missed ordering Rinseless. So, now I'm ordering it with the buy 2 get 1 sale. Wanted to see how the interior clean & protect worked before placing my order. Really enjoying the products, videos here and the live streaming yesterday. Keep it going guys!!!
I've been using your interior ceramic on my interior and REALLY like it but knowing that THIS is ok on Alcantara is very helpful to maintain my leather/Alcantara seats, shiftknob, boot, door panel inserts, handbrake handle and center console lid...all also Alcantara 😎
I just bought it! I’m excited because I want to offer protection with the clean but I don’t want to use a dressing that leaves the interior shiny. I want everything to be matte finished
When doing interiors, would you think a good idea would be to put a battery maintainer on the battery to ensure not to kill the battery with the doors being open?
Now imagine that orange leather if someone did the usual TH-cam detailer method of spraying an APC all over it and agitating with a brush to get it all foamy lol An interior detailer product like this is so important cause folks will otherwise find all sorts of inappropriate products and methods to do a simple maintenance cleaning
@@diydetailofficial Shows you don't always get what you pay for! Would your interior ceramic help prevent some of that dye shedding and if so how would you prep before applying it?
So this product is basically a maintenance product correct? I mean you still have to use say a leather conditioner to protect your leather interior. This wouldn’t be enough as a stand-alone product correct?
Hi, very helpful videos thanks. Working on the customer's car that has Alcantara centred seats. Wasnt sure if I should lightly steam clean a sunscreen stain off it? A bit more stained than expected. Any advice on steam cleaning Alcantara?
I always like washing my glass/window towels separately. Use a detergent free of dyes/perfumes (dedicated auto detail laundry detergents are good) and wash on cold, delicate cycle. Then air dry. -Nick
Read some of the comments...3-months ago the all purpose cleaning towels were "on the water". I've been checking and I don't find that towel on your Towels and Wash Mitts page. Am I not looking in the right place?
@@diydetailofficial Figures...LOL...Since I don't see it on the web site, how do I get notified when they come back in stock or have you dropped the item?
Hi, can I use the Clean and Protect in the TRC Ultra Air Blaster Plus to clean interiors? Or should I use All Clean 30:1 for the interior? Just trying to cut down on time.
Is the cloth and interior detail (or the glass cleaner) safe to use on the instrument cluster plastic? Any tips or particular steps / caution so as not to scratch that the soft plastic on the cluster?
Both are safe but I would use crystal clear glass cleaner. Spray it on a plush microfiber towel and just be incredibly gentle. Don’t spray directly on cluster plastic
Alcantara, specifically, shouldn’t be cleaned unless it’s necessary. Manufacturers recommend using just plain water, not cleaning chemicals. If you do use a cleaner, make sure it’s heavily diluted. Once you let it dry, use a soft brush to brush the fibers. Alcantara is, at best, a pia to maintain. It’s not “premium” materials, it’s crap being called “premium”. Leather or vinyl is way better to maintain and far more durable. Personally, I think they look and feel better than Alcantara. 😊😊😊
The surprise here is not the effectiveness of the products, theres no doubting them at this point... instead the fact that the lambo has no backup cam!
Hands down, I'd take the Fiat over that overwrought automotive abomination. Would put money on it being faster on the street, driven by yours truly, then a pedestrian driver with a supercar and an automatic. As per Dunning-Kruger, pedestrian drivers never realize they are...until it's undeniable, no matter what they're running. If someone reading this competed at any point in his/her life, they know exactly what I'm talking about. Sorry to get off track. BTW, you sold me on the product. Will get it next time I order. Along with making sure to hit the back of the mirror, frequently missed, detailing the key can often add to a client's experience.
Whoever did that orange should not be doing Lamborghinis. That's pretty embarrassing for them that a light cleaner like this removed some of the color. If it was an APC id say maybe a bit strong but clean and protect isn't that.
@@diydetailofficial yeah that's just really poor work on quite a beautiful car. Unfortunate. Imagine what the many detailers who immediately grab an APC would have done to it....
here is my experience with diy detail interior stuff so there are only 3 of them interior ceramic add a lot more superior protection then any other dressing product on the market interior clean and protect on top of it weekly has a lot lees protection but it looks so much better whatever little protection leaves behind looks better than interior ceramic and interior towel is the most underrated product of the entire industry i believe nothing has impressed me this much in last 8 years the way it picks up the dirt from the surface and the way it let it go under free flowing water is impressive and incredible One of this towel with any mild cleaner "couple spray of it onto this towel, get half of the leather seat done, then wipe dry with any secondary microfiber towel, rinse it real quick under free flowing water after using all 4 sides of it, you are back to work onto other section of the car." it's incredibly fast clean and fun i use to hate interior cleaning like anyone else and took hours to get it done with brushes, scrubbers, with 10 microfiber towels. But now, whole interior takes about 15 min, cleaner than ever before just try it and you will love it. so 3 different interior product and all 3 of them works incredible like any other tools and chemical sold by Diy detail. they don't sell anything on their website is trash. Hey guys great video and a lot of knowledge... Just wondering if yall ever gonna come out with a mitt to go with interior & protect like a ninjas mitt
It’s In the works
@@diydetailofficial One more question is the Interior & Protect dilutable if bought in a gallon size????
No it’s ready to use.
would this be ok use before interior ceramic or would it protect against the ceramic application?
It’s fine
When doing interiors, would you think a good idea would be to put a battery maintainer on the battery to ensure not to kill the battery with the doors being open?
Yes if the lights stay on.
I love the scent....I can't explain what it smells like. It's other worldly. It's what I'd expect to smell inside the interior of a brand new UFO
lol I like that description
@@diydetailofficial what does it smell like though?

That orange wasn’t the best dye job to say the least.
@@diydetailofficial Shows you don't always get what you pay for! Would your interior ceramic help prevent some of that dye shedding and if so how would you prep before applying it?
Would the All Clean at interior dilution be used more for dirtier interiors? Is is stronger than clean & protect?
yes, it's a more powerful cleaner
This stuff is great I got the gallon. Don’t have that towel but it’s next on my order
Nice!
Great video and explanation. You guys always make it fun to watch. Keep up the amazing work and happy new year!

Yes, ideally for the best protection use DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating
Hi guys, will applying a dressing after using Clean & Protect diminish its benefits? Ty.
Nope
Hi, very helpful videos thanks. Working on the customer's car that has Alcantara centred seats. Wasnt sure if I should lightly steam clean a sunscreen stain off it? A bit more stained than expected. Any advice on steam cleaning Alcantara?
Steam may set it into the fabric, plus alcantara does not deal well with heat. Please use DIY Detail Rinseless Wash instead.
@@diydetailofficial , thank you

Yes, we are working on that for the first quarter of 2023.

DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating to Protect it.

Yep! Apply to a microfiber towel and scrub affected area, then flip the towel to a clean side and agitate that area as your last step

what scent does this have?
Very slight mint

Can you use Interior Ceramic over clean and protect?
Best to use panel prep first just to make sure before you use Interior ceramic 👍
you clean your surface first then protect it with interior ceramic after that you use interior clean and protect as a maintenance detail

What the name of the product
DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect
ouch color came off that orange leather?
Yes, it was a very quick and dirty paint job.
Pretty embarrassing for whoever did the orange paint job there on the leather. Clean and protect isn't exactly a strong product.
Where did the Lamborghini come from????
Its Nick's haha
A fan of our TH-cam channel.
Smells good but leaves a squeaky and slippery feel.
how about once it's dry? it doesn't really leave an altered look or feel in my opinion. OEM finish, anti static and UV protection
