- This is my update of my 37th week of fighting fat using Alternate Day Fasting (ADF), Mounjaro/Zepbound GLP-1 medication, Working out, and trying to minimize sugar in my diet.
HW: 551.3 (My High Weight)
SW: 468.2 (My Weight When Starting Mounjaro)
CW: 414.6 (My Current Weight)
Total Loss: 136.7lbs
Mounjaro Loss: 53.6lbs
Week 38 Results:
6.0 lbs weight gain
114 avg blood sugar (178 Max)
Fasts: None
Workouts: 1x (Swims/OculusSupernatural)
Video Highlights:
Fat Fighting Tool: Roadside Snacks
Fat Fighting Food: Smoked Pulled Pork
Note on the pulled pork, I added about 3Tbsp of brown sugar and some rub which also contains some sugar. However, when you take into account that it was an 8lb pork roast, that amount of sugar is very low. So say you ate a serving of about 4oz of pulled pork. So that is less than 1g sugar per serving. :)
Background:
I was diagnosed with Diabetes during Covid and really began working on my health. I have cleaned up my diet to eat lower carb, fresh organic veggies... I do two 36 hour fasts a week... I workout in my SwimSpa and do other activities as I can... And I am using Mounjaro to control my blood sugar and really try and accelerate my weight loss. I lost 83lbs the hard way before Mounjaro and have been pleased with the results adding Mounjaro so far. It is not a miracle drug, you still have to work for it, but it helps you fight those hunger cravings, and definitely helps with the blood sugars.
