Everest Trek : The Last Days

Everest Base Camp, Namche, Lukla, Nepal.
Our final 2 days of the Everest base camp trek, we started early from Labouche which is 2 hours from #Gorakhshep. The day was long but beautiful as we passed all most the same trail we had come up. We did little change on our trip, we didn't take the Chola Pass route but did directly towards Namche passing Pheriche, Pangbouche and Tangbouche. After few hours walk early in the morning, Maya started having knee pain but she walked through all day, congratulation to my budi.
As we got close to our final destination of the day started snowing.
We stopped few hours before Namche next to Dudhkoshi in Portse Thenga. It was a great location the valley in the pine forest and big rocks. I was very pleasant hear the river whole night.
Then we walked from Phorte Thenga in the morning at around 7 am and got to Lukla at around 8:30 PM, so we walked more than 12 hours. We planned to stay in Namche but the hotel where I always stayed was closed so we decided to walk to Lukla. The small kids surprised us with their english and handed ice as a gift :)
Luckily today Maya didn't have the pain as earlier day but unfortunately it was Chandani's turn to bear the pain.
We covered more than 35Km on these two days with lots of uphill and downhill climbing. Congratulation to Maya and Chadani for completing their first but not last Everest trek.
