  • THE DEEP OGGIN TEASER Video
MIC Used: Recorded in the room on an ASTON MICS SPIRIT Microphone,
AMPS Used: Hiwatt DR103 and HAMSTEAD 20+RT
    Guitar Used: NIK HUBER ORCA
Pedal Used : ThorpyFx DEEP OGGIN
The DEEP OGGIN was designed as a collaboration with DAN COGGINS (Former LOVETONE Pedal designer) as his first modulation pedal design since his Lovetone pedal days. This fully Analog Chorus/Vibrato was designed from the ground up to provide the most incredible 3 dimensional chorus sounds with a level of versatility to meet the needs of all guitarists. Faced with hundreds of digital choruses on the market, Thorpy and Dan decided to go fully analog and deliver that vintage chorus that can only come from an analog circuit. The DEEP OGGIN is voiced to provide a variety of chorus styles from deep and wet through to more subtle and shimmery sounds.
With controls for Depth, Rate, Blend, Volume and Treble this analog pedal keeps it functionally simple but with a deceptively feature packed. For stereo pedal enthusiasts, they will be pleased to know that the DEEP OGGIN has both dry and wet outputs. This pedal allows you to deliver an almost unlimited tonal pallet no matter what your mood/style or guitar and amp setup. The premium sound is enhanced through the use of premium components all wrapped in a beautiful custom engineered enclosure.
Each pedal offers the following features:
Five knobs to control Depth, Rate, Treble, Volume, Blend
    Wet and dry outputs.
A beautiful laser cut and laser etched stainless steel enclosure wrapped in a ocean blue powder coat base.
Engineered to be robust but functional with recessed knobs, sloped front and top mounted jacks.
9-volt operation and standard DC input
    Size: (W)100mm x(L)125mm x(H)53mm
    SHIPPING BEGINS 1 MARCH 2019

Hey Adrian, I'm going to preorder regardless but since it does chorus and vibrato can it step into vibe territory at all? Just out of curiosity...
My board is going to be all Thorpy soon...

Guys, I am sure this pedal sounds amazing but I don't think you have done yourselves any favours with the quality of sound on this video ... but I do love your stuff

XLR8 Wales ah thanks for the comment, it’s a difficult one.... I wanted to capture the sound of the pedal in the room rather than up close to the cab..... the pedal is very 3 dimensional and massive sounding.... so it’s always going to be hard to capture

@@XLR8Wales I have the Thorpy FX Fallout Cloud - and I Love it. (and I was anti-fuzz, until then) - it is: That Good. Adrian is making some Phenomenal pedals. Get this New Chorus in the hands of: Andy Martin, Pete Thorn, or Brett Kingman and you will seem em fly off the shelves.

So Dan Steinhardt did this teaser?
Can this cop the TC Stereo Chorus sounds? Obviously it probably wouldn't be dead nuts for a variety of reasons (least of which I suppose is it's not a clone) but I like a very bright but still analog chorus, and the stereo outs are very compelling.

The video is way too short!
