Bike looks good as new. For the money I'd rather have it over a new one. Thanks Jon, for taking the time to make the videos. They are teaching anyone getting into motorcycling good maintenance discipline. Enjoyed the video and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

I love the looks of that bike. I've always wondered how they would be at interstate speeds.

I’m in Canada and I have a 2008 750 Shadow Spirt and really like it. Also have a 1982 CB900 and I prefer that on the highways. Just my opinion but the Shadow seems a bit light on the highway. I like the extra weight and power of the CB900.

@@mr1bienvenu1 They are pretty bikes. I'll get into the ride portion in Saturday's upcoming review video. Cheers!

@NorthCountry2226 Having had three of the CB900Cs, I would agree with that. The CB900C is smoother at highway speeds as well. Cheers!

Good morning Jon ☕️. Good service video. I liked the way that you edited it. 👍 It looks like you got a nice, well taken care of machine. I'm looking forward to the ride/review. I don't believe I've ever ridden a smaller displacement V twin than 1100.

Excellent video, I came over here and subscribed after seeing your post on the Shadow group on Facebook. I have a near twin 2007 Spirit, got it a couple years ago with 15k miles, currently 21k. Going to go through the fluids front to back this fall. One thing of note is this video could be applied to almost any 750 Shaft drive Shadow, carbureted or fuel injected. If riders checked all these things they could save many breakdowns.
And, that’s a beautiful looking and sounding Honda!

@georgesteffens7489 Thanks, George! I agree. I'm sure most Shadow 750s with shaft-drive are similar to service. I appreciate the subscription and the feedback. I think you'll like next week's review video of the 750 Shadow. Cheers!

I owned a newer Shadow Phantom for 3 years. The shadow platform is nice, but I bought one a few years before the upgrade to a rear disc brake. Ended up trading it in for a Honda Rebel 1100t.

I think some of the OEM brakes fluids are purposely a bit amber to show better in the reservoir window. But new fluid in the system is always a plus.
