That was a light controlled crossing, you can see the boxes where you need to push the button and lane marked for pedestrians (which they didn't use) and the light was green for the cars, meaning the light was RED for the pedestrians. The BMW had to swerve to avoid hitting pedestrians because both BWM AND said pedestrians failed to follow basic road safety. You can even see that last pedestrian just gives no fucks, doesn't even try to clear the road a little faster to avoid getting hit, just continues their casual stroll across a main road in-front of oncoming traffic. If the cam car avoided the last person that narrowly, the BMW would have had to swerve or break hard anyway to avoid hitting them regardless if they were breaking the speed limit or not. #11 There must have been so many accidents at this place, I was confused as to why none of the ends of the roads had markings and I wanted to know, so manage to find this on Google Earth (thanks to the solicitor's offices name - yes, I know, NERRRD). The road the other car came from (Coppice St) now has give way markings and the road the cammer came from (B3091) doesn't - the road both were heading into is also the B3091 so cammer may have had priority but without markings probably legally the other car was okay to since it entered the junction first? Cammer just needed to slow and make it a non-event either way.
#9 "Welcome to Bradford" ...Good lad for using a capital, giving it the respect it deserves ;) but pretty sure this is everywhere, not just Bradford. Wind ya neck in.
According to the Highway Code, nobody has priority at an unmarked crossroad. There are general right-of-way principles that can be used, although they are not hard and fast: 1 First come, first served, 2 right-turning traffic gives way, 3 large vehicles go first. In this case the cammer should give way because of 1 and 2.

#5 Knows he has a dashcam so he escalates a non event into a drive-by lecture on road safety just to make a more interesting clip to post on you-tube. All everyone else would have done is let her in when they saw the indicator.
Not really, the taxi is beyond the stop line. Not excusing the failing to stop but it is wrong to blindly go thinking you have a green light (well, amber, when you look) and expecting everyone to get out your way, particularly when it's congested like that.
@ChrisCaaa A judge would call it as I just have; when the red light shows you stop at the stop line. If you are beyond the stop line then you continue as is to clear the junction. There is no grey area with that one, either you were before the stop line or had passed it. If your light turns green it means go if it is safe to do so, you still need to let traffic clear.

What's more, at the very start of this clip you can see another pedestrian quickly making their away across a section of the road that had just turned green instead waiting at the island like they should have. I blame the pedestrians here as much as the speeding BMW.
#7 How are we supposed to have any idea who is at fault when we cannot see the traffic lights that those two vehicles went through🤷♂️
@0:38 WOW!!!! I really hope they were reported, this could have ended very badly
@1:25 You are in a potential killing machine, and I bet they were on their phone, defiantly not looking where they are going
@1:50 it looked like the biker was going to overtake on the inside, this is a megga nono! not only do I hope they were ok, BUT I hope they have learned a valuable lesson
@3:44 to me that looked like chaos, did anyone look at the lights???
@4:32 looking at it from both sides, whilst its obvious the taxi is in the wrong, its easily done, they may have looked and only seen pedestrians, as you may have been blocked by them, personally I would have taken it a bit easier to ensure the taxi saw me.
@7:35 "I Had right of way? didn't I???" to me it looked like there was no right of way.
The amount of video's I have seen where their is a incident and the cam car does not stop to tell the non fault driver they have it on dashcam has It helps the claim.
#4 more worried about the Audi who, even with a big parking bay, can’t keep off the pavement!
#2 Stobart drivers have gone from being the best in the business to some of the worst.
#8 cyclist goes through a red light (go and read what a solid amber following a red means) and blames the cab which was over the stop line before the red shows.
When you encounter BMW and Audi drivers, stay away from them. Your life is important.
"Don' talk to me like that" - what politely to try and help you be safe??? People are so pathetic sometimes!
#10 how many wing mirrors have they gone through?
#8 Terrible road craft from both parties. Both should use the bus from now on and keep the rest of us out of harm's way.
I hated watching that. The taxi was already over the line and moving through the junction when the cyclist inserted himself into a space that was always going to close. Then blamed the taxi driver for not enabling his entitlement. I wonder how many cyclists have 'IT WAS MY RIGHT OF WAY' on their gravestones?
@@roi354 Totally agree, mate. However, I still think any competent motorist paying attention would have easily avoided the cyclist with a death wish! ;)
#9 It's welcome to Turdabad, not Bradford.
0:12 I feel sorry for mr passat 😢
and they say its only bikes that run red lights; goes to show if a bike waits for a green light i still gets run over.
A lot of lorry/HGV delivery drivers are the worse ever drivers, don’t look properly and often blame poor visibility. The biggest ever culprit in collisions/ near misses is using a phone while driving. When is it people NEED to learn to STOP using your phone while driving. It’s easy, just wait until you’ve pulled over.
#6 One of Ashley's bugbears that one, must get in front of the learner no matter what.
7:04 That reaction seems to be at odds with the advertised attitude
Ashley Wakelin, i hope you reported the lorry driver, that could have been far worse
#10 'How to smash a wing mirror'.... Not use it at all, thereby not missing it once you've taken it off!!
#5 People in the wrong still argue that they are right, but she drives a Joke after all....
Whenever he sees a Nissan Joke Richard Hammond says 'I HATE you!'
#10 Peugeot Driver........Maniac
#3 I’d put a fiver on that the driver in the truck was having a little look at their mobile phone rather than the road.
Nope he was looking at traffic common off the slip road and thought that as the slip road was clear the car would have gone.
I got rear ended myself on that road because of the same lack of paying attention.
@@AJB2K3I think you're talking about the wrong clip
@@AJB2K3 Your observational skills are not 100%.
Thanks a lot, always interesting. Around 04:25, the cyclist was lucky, a good result - but I expect the taxi driver had a lapse of concentration.
Yeah but it looks as though the taxi may have been past his stop line when the light went red so he had priority. A cyclist riding across moving traffic is taking a risk. Highway Code states motorist should allow junction to clear first.
Probably too busy ranting about immigrants
Nah its just case of "a cyclist? must get as close as i can and force him off."
@@AzguardMikeFunny the police didn't agree with you. Typical entitled driver.
Taxi had priority, green means go when safe. His charge was failing to stop at an accident.
#10 Just a Peugeot driver being a Peugeot driver
MANIAC!
Probably too busy staring at the driver aids in the cabin to realise where their mirrors are.
I don't consider Peugeot drivers to be stereotypically bad. It's the drivers of German cars, Range Rovers and big daft penis substitute pick ups who are the worst.
3:30 we don't know their light colour only our own so we cannot guess.
#5 "a very polite exchange". Why? Are you the police? Get a life!
I understand that some drivers of particular cars haver nicknames such as 'Berk in a Merc' for Mercedes and 'It's always an Audi' for Audi drivers but what is a common nickname for BMW drivers?
My personal one is usually "Big Massive W⚓s".
Audiot or Audi drivers.
#11 why would you submit that? Her license is probably as fake as the lawn.
4:20 That was the cyclists fault. If he didn't see the taxi then he shouldn't be on a bike.
Does a camera compilation exist that doesn't include endless roundabout misdemeanours?
#11 There must have been so many accidents at this place, I was confused as to why none of the ends of the roads had markings and I wanted to know, so manage to find this on Google Earth (thanks to the solicitor's offices name - yes, I know, NERRRD). The road the other car came from (Coppice St) now has give way markings and the road the cammer came from (B3091) doesn't - the road both were heading into is also the B3091 so cammer may have had priority but without markings probably legally the other car was okay to since it entered the junction first? Cammer just needed to slow and make it a non-event either way.
@FistOfFiori Incorrect on last as the only priority here is for peds as it is blocked paved and no markings, signage no other priority.
3:22 absolutely the trucks fault. You should submit dashcam to the police. For consideration of prosecution.
#9 just taking the old transistor radio out for a spin?
#9 "Welcome to Bradford" ...Good lad for using a capital, giving it the respect it deserves ;) but pretty sure this is everywhere, not just Bradford. Wind ya neck in.
1:15 Yank Tanks at it again.
#10 How not to be able to reverse.
#10 Please return your licence to the DVLA and stop driving. You are a danger to the public and will end up hurting someone
No idea who had priority in #11.
Fiesta should have at least been indicating to go left
No one, it is an unmarked junction and should be approached at less than 10 miles per hour, that's what I was taught about them anyway.
That's the idea - the uncertainty slows drivers down. But #11 thinks it gives them 'priority'.
Chris McArthur had priority because Chris McArthur always has priority whenever Chris McArthur says so! The sign in his window says it all about his attitude towards other people!
#11 ‘who’s he swearing at’ - 🤓
4.40 I'd rather die just to make a point!!
#10 is the same place as #3
#5 Wow, Mr Brave having a pop at a woman like that. I pity his gf or wife.
Cab did not go through a red light. He was already through cyclist being a knob
Cyclist tries to ride across a pedestrian crossing then cries bloody murder 😂
The picture of a bike on the floor means it’s a cyclist crossing… 🤡
Those things painted on the floor showing an image of a cycle is for cyclists not pedestrians.
#5 Knows he has a dashcam so he escalates a non event into a drive-by lecture on road safety just to make a more interesting clip to post on you-tube. All everyone else would have done is let her in when they saw the indicator.
Car v skip wagon, why did car stop ?
4:23 thats a RED light
Not really, the taxi is beyond the stop line. Not excusing the failing to stop but it is wrong to blindly go thinking you have a green light (well, amber, when you look) and expecting everyone to get out your way, particularly when it's congested like that.
@@StarskyQCWe've seen this before with a motorbike, I'd love to see how a judge would call it.
6:50 woman driving ...
I wonder why Bradford has such a seemingly highly concentration of obnoxious drivers?
Frank spencer / chris McArthur needs to get off the road.
At 01:19 One can only imagine (📱) what was distracting the driver enough to miss seeing brake lights directly ahead on an empty road. 🤔
You're forgetting the evening festivities of ether and nose powder.
