Tony's game to lose there. Dude should've swung with the scion. GGs Nick!

It was everyone's game to lose. Nick won overall, but if Nick died Howard had card advantage. Looked like Tony was top decking at his last turn, and who knows what Howard could have played. But in the end, people are just victim's of their own decisions. Which is what makes us all unique players when we play magic. Good game nonetheless. Looking forward to Next Friday.

I dont think he was topdecking but no way to know for sure. Howard and Nick talked about how WUBRG builds up to being explosive so maybe he was just in the process? The Atarka made him lethal with commander. But Howard had so much fodder he could swing and block with. So in all honesty, if Tony HAD swung out with Scion, it probably went to Howard.

Some very tough decisions at the end of the game for Tony. I think the stance was to protect from Howard and hope Nick doesn't go for the kill. Aggression definitely gets him killed by the other opponent so maybe his line was play political and get another turn to draw something to finish the game?

    Heyo all,
Wow, this was... a game of all time. Lol I think I've noticed a bit of a pattern. That being, that one person usually will end up with mostly a non-game, somebody will do just shy of enough stuff to stablize and then two people race to pop off just a bit harder that the other. The removal problem needs to be addressed. Lol
That said, I now think I understand where Nick is coming from, from when I commented on the energy deck breakdown video. If pieces are going to be allowed to stay where they are and can generate energy turn after turn, then I don't think he's wrong on his assessment of energy. Being in a removal heavy playgroup, I have to squeeze every last ounce of value out of my cards. Although I think I'll maintain my position on Madison Li, she does still hold a place in my deck. I'm interested to see how you changed the deck after this game, as you had mentioned.
I am immensely sad that it just seemed like Fitz did not draw into anything of great use even though he started with the classically terrifying Urza's Incubator for eldrazi. I am a huge advocate for the Eldrazi creature type, even though in the past, all of their less than mythic printings had been mostly overcosted. My Azlask deck is a Simic shell for token doubling and cloning cards but with a multitude of ways to obtain all five colors. One inclusion that I've been debating was the last 4 mana enchanment he'd played, but I'd like to get a better game for him to see how good it can actually be.
Additionally, as a note, it could have been just me, but I tried to stream this to a TV, and it was very quiet. I had to watch on a device using headphones to hear it perfectly, which I suppose is your target audience, but I thought I'd let you know anyways, just as a shout. That said, I'm excited about your developments as a channel like audio equipment upgrades, discord, and expanding your content.
Can't wait for another as always, until next time, my fellow cult members. Hail Bolas!

A big part of the group as a whole is the light amount of removal. We want to see the decks work. Like you point out, the presence of removal does change the dynamic of how the cards interact and the outcome of the games.
This game is a downer for people wanting to see the Eldrazi. Fitz is looking to pilot it to a victory the next time he gets a chance!
We are looking into improving the audio and we do appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for the in-depth reply! Hail Bolas!

@@depression_sloth2102 - Howard here, thanks for the feedback on audio. I will try and correct it going forward i get anxious that maybe the audio is too loud so this could be an adverse effect of my paranoia. We just shot 3 great games tonight and we all have lavalier mics hooked up. I hope this is an improvement to quality moving forward. Thanks for your upstanding suppoet thus far, your feedback is always appreciated.
