i need a power solder sucker. I did a bunch of NES/SNES batteries last summer. looks like I need to fix the caps next - my NES had a lot of corrosion on the board side of the cart adapter piece
1.6 og xbox 5v and 3.3v standby short? Not sure where to look, there is one mosfet I think is what it is, between two caps F 2 area of the board. But I don't know how to pull off the 20 pin power connector plastic part to then trace out the short from the top of the board. Would love a little look see from ya. All 6.3v caps are good, new, but are also shorted somehow. 😢

I am extremely curious if the use of Metalized Polypropylene capacitors make a difference in these old consoles.
