1:37 oh my gosh I'm so happy you included the NXT! I still consider the NXT to be the best robot system of them all! So nostalgic too! Makes me tear up 😭
Chantel Builds there’s zero issues with the NXT. It is the perfect mindstorms system! Most of my NXTs have their displays still working and they’re well over 10 years old
@@Unbrickme ? I agree the NXT is really good but it does not have "zero issues", I think the newest set (the 51515 set) is the best one but again the NXT is a really good one.
Really enjoyed this video! Especially showcasing all the legacy robots! Best wishes from all of us here at the Xzistor LAB! PS. Please make more videos! :-)
Good question, I must confess that without the LEGO bricks and the banana peels the balancing robots would have won. But GELO was actually surprisingly fast, at first I thought I had to add many more obstacles for him to be able to win.
Those would have been great indeed, but unfortunately I don't have them here. GyroRex also has nostalgic value for me because that was my first creation with LEGO Mindstorms... :-)
@@DimitriDekyvere oh wow! That's awesome! my first creation with LEGO mindstorms was the NXT 1.0 first stage of tribot, which I built together with my grandpa when I was only 6 and he helped me program it. Then I finished the tripod by building the rest (claws and such)
Hi, I'm also just starting out with the Lego TH-cam thingy, I've subscribed to you cus I've got your video recommended and I was thinking what would you say about mine, I think u have a bit more experience than me already, thanks and cool video btw, I'd just upgrade the lighting to a softer option
Can you please Help me, gelo ist not Working normaly :-( my gelo can Not perform some tricks, He can Not Push itself from the Ground, only a few centimeters high is He able to geht. Sometimes on the Carpet He can perform ist tricks but Most of the time it seems Like He has not enough Power. Motor calibration is good, Testes everything, please Help me Someone :-(
Hmmm I made that video some time ago and I do remember the trick wasn't always working. I think I changed something in de code but I can't remember what. :-( Maybe you should post your problem on the Robotmak3rs Mindstorms RI Facebook page? I am sure someone will be able to help you there.

lmao the scorpion was too busy stinging the banana
Gelo is the main character in the video
That intro showcasing all the bots is a thing of beauty.
Thanks, feel free to share it. ;-)
All of them deserved a participation certificate!
This is AWESOME! Thank you so much for your time and efforts on creating this incredible video!!
Someone is missing in the race, and that someone, is RCX!
3:10 it's funny moment when gonk droid is fell and the robot spike is walk like turtle and finished race
I like the 45544 and31313
Very nice and cool demonstration Dimi! Great robots and funny video montage!
Thank you!

the NXT has a lot of issues such as the firewall and the LCD screen stops working comply I don't recommend but it is the cheapest option

Thank you. I realy appreciate the feedback.
Now I really need to get one. What a winner.
who wants to see EV3RSTORM and Blast fight?
Unbrickme has that!
If only I could get this now without spending $800.
A sad thing indeed.
Nice work my friend! Loved the race!
Thanks!
I'm wondering though- was the race rigged? I would expect the wheeled robots to win on speed.

Wow! How cool was that?
And nice idea
Pretty cool
For the NXT, you should've used the robotgator from NXT 2.0, or the scorpion from NXT 1.0
Those would have been great indeed, but unfortunately I don't have them here. GyroRex also has nostalgic value for me because that was my first creation with LEGO Mindstorms... :-)

📽Cool video👍
WOW!! how did you do that?!
Euh, filmed with 2 camera's while my wife and kids remote controled the segways. 😁
Alé, twas weer plezant :-D
Amazing video, my friend! Will more robots not from LEGO line also be included for the race? Cheers for 51515!
Feel free to organise your own race. :-) I would love to see it.
Hey! Very cool Video!
Could you make a SBC model like the Spike Prime one?
I would love to, but there is no such a ball in the 51515 set. 😕
Well you could cheat one in. For example the one from the ev3. I would really love such a machine
@@DimitriDekyvere I'm pretty sure there is a small ball in the 51515. At least, there was one in mine. There's only one, though.
@@yerfriendtheduck3376 true, but very light and not completely round. I might try it one day.
you make the best mocs for lego mindstorms like scorpion but can you start doing them with the new 51515 set?
Thanks. The 51515 is on my to do list. I have some ideas, now I need to find the time to start those projects...
@@DimitriDekyvere i can't wait. This is a wierd question but can you please tell me some of your ideas?;)

Keren bang....👍🏿
Erg grappig. Mooi gemaakt.

ok this wasn't fair, the ev3 could drive much faster...
Si il roule plus vite il glisse sur les bicke et tombe
If he rolls faster he slips on the lego piece and falls
Minus away the music please
Tty
Pppalalaalla
THe race was rigged

Why would you use Gyro boy in ev3 instead if SPIK3R
@@18hridyandeshpande94 bacause I didn't have a Spik3r that was build. The GyroBoy mod robot is one of the robots i use in my classes...
I love the robot of NXT,I have 8527,can you share the instruction @
Dimitri Dekyvere
I don't have instructions for that nxt model. Sorry.
