Love the veggie videos! Lol also love the other videos knowing that its easy to do replacements! Ground Beef is Veggie Ground, Chicken is Shredded Soy Curls or jackfruit. Fish/searfood is jackfruit or hearts of palm. Pork is shredded jackfruit or seasoned shredded tofu. Vegan shredded cheese is now an easy 1:1 replacement, I make my own cashew/oat cheese or simply omit. Its the concept of the freezer meal that is so freeing! I wanted to share in case there were others out there that are vegetarian/vegan and were hesitant to try this way of cooking:) I'm doing the eat one, freeze one method right now and trying to work my way up to a 20 meal session. Maybe one day I'll get up to a mega session:) Coconut milk freezes so well! Use evaporated milk in Christie's :) Also tofu freezes well! Has more of a meaty texture after freezing, lol.
Hi, I’m a new subscriber to your channel and love putting together freezer meals . I’ve been married 42 years and have raised our kids and now have grandchildren and I have just recently started making a lot of freezer meals at a time ! I sure could have used it back when I our kids were born and growing up I would just make an extra meal to freeze when I was making something like a meatloaf etc ..But it’s still helpful to have a bunch in the freezer now for when the Grandkids and kids come over and of course the smaller meal ones for my husband and me ! I also watch Jamerrill Stewart’s Channel( Large Family Table )when I first got introduced to batch cooking up a lot of meals to freeze for later. When I’m shredding cheese or potatoes for my day of making my freezer meals I use my food processor to shred them up cause it’s done in a matter of seconds I then put the shredded cheese in a baggie till the time to use it and potatoes I shred up on the day I plan to use them and put them in water till it’s time to use and drain the water then place them in a cotton towel and wring out the potatoes till they are completely dry. Also I use the blade with the largest holes as I like the size of shred it produces . I think I actually use my food processor mainly for shredding lol I’ll be making quite a lot of your recipes, they look so yummy and healthy . I look forward to watching a lot more of your videos as I will be binge watching!😂
I haven’t tried using the food processor for potatoes yet but we do use it for shredding cheese and it’s been a game changer! So glad you found our channel - welcome!
Have you ever subbed chickpeas in for tuna in tuna salad? Also you can use tofu to sub the egg in it. I also use tofu to make egg salad. Super easy and yummy. Plus in my area tuna is 2.00 a can and chickpeas are 89 cents.
I've been binge watching all your videos! Your channel is a holy grail resource, thank you so much!!

Tofu does freeze well! You've got a lot of great ideas for sub-ins. It sounds like you've been eating this way for awhile! ❤️

Please do more meatless freezer meals.
We do a meatless meal at least once a week and I am always looking for new ideas!

I've never tried that. Thanks for the suggestion Donna!
What brand coconut milk is that one in the curry? It looks nice and thick
Are you using 1 gallon bags?
Yes, they are gallon sized freezer bags.
@@FreezerMeals101 Thank you! And thanks for making the veggie meals. There are so few vegetarian or vegan freezer meals on TH-cam.
