So in the grocery typing part, does the iPhone automatically name the category that the food is in? Eg. Muffins as breads & cereals? Or did you have to do it yourself?

I’m on beta 2 of iOS 17 and Apple must of removed Power on & Off sounds feature because I’m not seeing it under the Audio/Visual in Accessibility settings

Very thorough vid. I find location/systems services is always on in iOS 17. It’s not blue/active all the time but it’s always there next to time. I’d rather just see when active. Is there a way to do that?
I see it in the dynamic island sometimes and have to restart the phone to clear it

Yup. But it showed me what I was changing was working. And I was surprised all of a sudden it called me by my name. I didn’t know it could do that either.

It’s my understanding that Apple does not use the term AI, but rather refers to it as Siri, machine learning, predictive text, Neural Engine, and the like. It’s similar to their staying away from the terms such as AR / VR (through Tim Cook did say VR in the intro to the WWDC event). Instead we get Spacial Computing, Spacial Audio, Intelligent Settings with iPods, etc.

😊I am not a beta tester so I will have to wait until September to start using IOS 7. It’s hard for me to get excited about these new up and coming changes in the software. It’s like telling a kid about a new toy and how great and wonderful is then tell them they will have to wait a couple of months to get it.

one thing for crossfade in Apple Music, it only works with playlists and radios. album playbacks are not supported

This update sucks! For visually, impaired or blind people, it has totally taken away the ability of notifications on the lock screen to rearranging where your ringtones and your text tones are taken away the capability of using all of those for either one of them it just sucks and I can’t find anyone that knows how to fix it if there is a fix!
I wonder whether you can still make a phone call....

Apple is very particular about only using the buzz words THEY came up with. No “VR” no “AI”
I’m an old guy and all these new features are totally overwhelming. I think it will be very unlikely that I will make use of any of them.

GOOGLE MAPS:
I never use google maps and my friend sent me his location via google maps. Shortly after I started to get some (not a lot) spam emails to my gmail account which I don’t use. I have all my security settings Rt based on your recommendations but I believe google has its own way to find you and send spam.
I have since deleted google maps.

I hope they fixed some of the glitchy stuff in IOS 16. I've had quite a few problems getting some apps to start up, phone issues and I'm blaming it on IOS 16. Didn't have these issues before I upgraded to 16.

These are great but I think that there should be an option to turn of some of these. Because they could turn into stalking/tracking like their TAG nightmare! Like touch/tap watch/phone or turn on location tracking for the one person for your check-in! Just my opinion!

Why in the world did Apple change this feature. When it was first launched you can add a notification when one of your friends gets to a certain location. NOW you need that person to approve it. I thought giving someone the authorization to follow have you that. Would work great for kids. Wish Apple would take that change away.
Am i the only one in 16.5 that got their auto brightness toggle disappeared?
I've kinda wondered if Auto brightness is consistent and reliable for the last few years. On older devices, it was super noticeable as it increased or decreased the brightness to the room you were in. I've also wondered if there is a bug associated with auto brightness that keeps carrying forward from older iterations.
@@benjaminhalliday8799 yeah i hope they fix it. Im kinda used to auto brightness always being on now but i still want the toggle to be there
Using iOS 17 for over 2 weeks no. This is the most underwhelming update. The only feature I like is the crossfade on music. Which took way to long and even my original iPod had it.
How much bloat it in 17? Ugh, great video, hope I can delete some of this…

did they fix Screen Time passcode reset being able to reset entire Apple ID password? xD Hashtag: a thief knowing our 6-digit passcode can lock us out completely from our iCloud forever.
So people must be warned of nudity on an iPhone but it’s perfectly ok in front of children at pride parades. Got it. Just need to know the rules.

Question, you can add your custom ringtones to your phone in IOS 17, but they are not added in the text tones, new voicemail etc....am I missing something or is it just not to be added across the board, just custom ringtones in "RINGTONES" only......is there a fix? or is this a BUG?
