I've been an Android user for most of my life and it's been a few months since I switched to apple and I honestly love it. The updates are what sold me to switch over. The only thing I miss on Android is the double screen multitasking, other than that I love apple. This channel saved me in so many ways😂😂 thanks for all the usual videos, u the G.O.A.T
love the name and yeah im the same I just switched to an iPhone for the first time recently mainly because of the apps and software are so optimized. To get consistent music and editing apps on Android will never happen because there are too many different iterations of that software.

Side note: Anyone else experiencing disappearing time, battery, and cell signal/carrier icons on their home screens? They show up when an app is open but vanish when closed?🤔🤷🏾♀
Already picked up a bug. Assitant touch could not be repositioned after the update. To fix, I had to go turn it off and then on again.

I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and enjoy understanding how to use the new features that will be in the upcoming iOS. I’m always excited about the new releases of iOS each year. My problem is we haven’t gotten anything groundbreaking like in older versions. Apple used to take a function that you could only get in third-party apps and make it part of the general OS. The past few updates just seem to be customizing/personalizing your phone for your own usage, which probably great for a lot of people. I don’t change the look of my phone at all. I have an iPhone 14 Pro but I’m still using the same wallpaper and layout from my iPhone 6. I get new apps and update my settings but I’m not a fan of things changing each day or every time you unlock your phone. I think until we have a major advancement in technology this is just how it’s going to be. I never use the focus modes; change my wallpaper, keep up with the weather, use the calendar, or have a lot of photos. I also don’t like how a lot of the new apple watch features don’t work a SE watch. I’m not able to get the screen mirroring to work between an iPhone 14 Pro and an apple watch SE.
I do like the battery percentage and some of the widgets on the lock screen. Now that I’ve setup them up, I’m not going to change anything. I really hope more third-party apps will come out with widgets/ribbons that will work with both on the lock screen widgets and the ribbons. I do wish there was a way to customize the ribbons. I like the banner ribbons the best and not all apps have that style. Being able to choose the style and have them show what you really want, instead of just a very summary would be great.

Apple is driving me crazy by PAUSING charging at 80% bc the phone is too hot. I CANT BYPASS THAT, Super annoying . LET ME HAVE THE OPTION to bypass

I just updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 16 and have already customized my lock screen and put the battery percentage back. Plus, I tried out the dictation. Can't wait to try more!

I've updated and I'm loving it. But some apps need to be updated and there are new terms that have to be agreed to before the apps will update. However, no matter how many times I agree and go thro each page..it says there is an error.
Currently thats an issue on app apple devices previous not updated and updated appstores (including Mac computers) too.
Mine was doing that too but I turns on Wi-Fi and it worked and then it worked after with out it

Great video as always. Thanks for the stellar content and instructions! I have a couple issues (maybe bugs?). I have an iPhone 13 and it is updated to iOS 16. When you turned your calendar sideways on iOS 16, I didn’t see the new view (only the old weird zoomed in view on iOS 15). I also can’t see the duplicate photos tab in the albums section of the photos app. Thoughts? Could they be bugs?
Same issues for me on my iPhone 13 mini. Any updates on those questions?

I don't get a battery widget on lock screen - I set it with my watch connected and it shows a watch battery, but when I connect my airpods, it shows airpods. However, I can't seem to get both of them at the same time - it's either 2 times watch, or 2 times airpods. I assume it's a bug..?

I have an issue when I set up a Lock Screen with sleep mode my screen stay completely black and the wallpaper I chose just doesn't show. Any idea how to disable this ?
I really wish they finally gave us multiple timers at the same time! That new timer card on the lock screen makes perfect sense with that
iOS 16… the update that changed everything. I love how it looks, but I’ve been experiencing lag and fall behinds quite frequently… no app crashes!!!!🤞noticed my device slow down exponentially from 15.6.1 when upgrading to iOS16, however it should all be sorted out during updates and bug fixes, not gonna make a big deal about it if it’ll be fixed, but so far, iOS 16 looks great and for most apps, runs very smoothly

I have noticed:
If I remove an app from the Home Screen to the App Library. Then drag the app back to the Home Screen, I can do that several times and therefore have several copies of the app on the Home Screen.
But if I delete the app, all copies disappear.
- Is the a simple way to know which apps are double on the Home Screen?
- Is there a simple way to put back apps from the App Library to the Home Screen?

How do you lock the Lock Screen from accidental edits by accidentally holding down the Lock Screen? I have found myself a few times already today editing the Lock Screen because my thumb was pressed on screen.
I don’t know why but with my IOS 16 update I didn’t get the duplicate option in my photos 😪. But this video was so helpful
I didn’t watch entirely, but gave a like, comment and sub to this guy, who puts his life into showing every tiny detail of the software change. I get slightly goosebumps as a nerd seeing this with every new iOS.
How can I protect my contacts?? Although I have the privacy settings marked to NOT share my contacts, apps somehow access them. Is there a way to protect my contacts from this??? 🙆🏼♀️

So I don’t ever have a problem with the new IOS software, but I do have a problem, but it’s just a slight one.
So for the battery part of it, it says it can show the percentage. But when I go to settings to turn it on it won’t show it. What do I do??

I’ve updated to iOS 16 on my iPhone I’m really enjoying the new customers will lock screen for the add My focus mode to the different lock screens , I love the new battery percentage and I’m going to enjoy when I get the iPhone 14 pro max the always on display and I’m really enjoying the new search button at the bottom of the home screen and so much more cool features like tap the Haptic keyboard

Not one. Many! I love battery percentage. Most required feature to prevent scrolling of notification center to see battery percentage. Lock Screen customisation is very nice. Lock feature for Hidden and Deleted pics. Lot more features to explore and enjoy! Thanks for your detailed explanation on every new little feature! Keep going. Hard work pays off!

This vid is great! Thank you so much. I will say I saw something when going over things you mentioned. When in location services it has an option for always or always for widgets. The widgets option is new to me, but maybe it was there before.
