    Great video. I’m curious if a firmer plastic would help the tail action. Can’t wait to use them for rockfish on the west coast!

    Sweet video brother! I too have learned it’s harder to design swim baits than it would seem lmao

      For sure man! And you wonder why they all look the same... 😂

    Have you created a mold using epoxy resing instead of silicone?

    • @WMBayouLures
      @WMBayouLures  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not but if you have a resin 3D printer, you just print the mold, no need print a master, then mold the master.

    what silicon does not work with SLA Prints?? 4:20min can you explain that??

      Platinum cure silicone has a chemical reaction with the 3D printer resin and will not cure. I decent overview and some mitigation strategies are in this video - th-cam.com/video/_-3_bCDm7aM/w-d-xo.html

    I love your vids! And I have a question
    What would happen if you only made the mold as injection? 2 section with a clamp for pressure? Will the silicone do not cure? Have you ever tried before?

      I make injection miles out of resin, check out some of my other videos. I have made a few silicone injection molds as well and I am pretty close to making those good enough for a video. Will make a video on this process soon

    What is your resin printer? I'm in search of a medium size one. The small one is getting old. lol.

      I have an Elegoo Saturn - amzn.to/37qKc2X Works great. Watch out for them on Amazon and only get the official ones from Elegoo, lots of scalpers selling for more. Also I hear good things about the Epax E10 - epax3d.com/collections/frontpage/products/epax-e10-uv-lcd-3d-printer and the Anycubic Mono X - amzn.to/3pzccr9 This is a great size for most molds, about the only things you can't really print are 9" plus worms.

      The Sidewinder is $440, it has been great so far and it is super quiet - amzn.to/3jl02Rs

    Don't use resin printing that smell of the Resin prints gets embedded into your mold as well as your prints fdm is you best bet plus resin prints are toxic that gets into your fish

    • @WMBayouLures
      @WMBayouLures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only uncured resin is toxic, cured resin is not toxic and with proper curing/post processing a resin mold should not have a smell, if it does that is a good indication that post processing was not done completely.

    • @WMBayouLures
      @WMBayouLures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@matthewframe1435 no problem it’s a common misconception about resin and toxicity
