Finally I'm getting the idea of the Arturia AstroLab, being an Arturia stage synthesizer/keyboard for live performers. Like Arturia software as hardware. And finally a keyboard with aftertouch. Nice, I like it. 🙂👍 There has to be a black version one day. 😎
Thanks so much for this! One question: I've seen that you can organize your presets into songs and playlists. Does it look to you like presets are loaded into memory when you open a playlist, so that you can switch instantaneously? For example, if you had a playlists with complicated patches, I'd be concerned about whether there would be a delay when you switch from one preset to another. Thank you!
I never had to wait for another presets too long. You can switch almost instantly, I haven't measured it, but I think it took maximum 1 second or maybe 1,5 sec is case of 2-part sounds. When swithing between same instrument or some instrument used before it takes a fraction of a second. I remember on some 90' Roland synths it took longer...
So did you buy or get it sent to you? It's not clear and I want to take your video seriously - but that's hard to do when it's not clear if you purchased it or have a "reviewers gift."
Excellent video. Really sold me when you showed you can play music off your phone through the Astrolab...
Thank you for explaining all this so well.

@@musoneo Ok - that's good to know. Thanks!
Is there a way to layer on the fly? I just bought one and it seems pretty complicated to layer quickly.
How did you get the vocoder working? I couldn’t find instructions
