Look at all of those people laughing and singing along together. Not even thinking about what party someone belongs to or what their politics are. Music brings us all together
“Cause I need freedom now, and I need to know how, to live my life as it’s meant to be.” I’m in the depths of depression, and I needed this line from this song.
I went to a mumford and sons concert Wednesday and am still awestruck how they played with such energy and emotion, even though they've played the same songs over and over. I absolutely love this band
They dont kick ass, they are not heavy metal, but they are just a great great great band with great meaningful lyrics that uplift your life in every way. Thank you mumford and sons for existing and hopefully more and more albums to come.
I don’t know, I think they can really kick ass at a live concert. They can get really into it. Not always, but sometimes, and when they do, it’s electric
@AdamKlownzinger some songs are electric yes but kick ass is maybe a way a girl would describe it..if. But I love this song..its melodic. It has tremendous uplifting potential. It cures every depressive mood
I wish I could articulate myself enough to explain what it felt like being in that jumping crowd. The crowd became one. Everyone was complete. Nothing will ever compare, I mean Marcus and the boys organised this whole festival by themselves, down to the choice of the beers that was served and even the hog roast bar! Their music and lyrics are timeless.
It's 2023 and the band is no more, if only I knew what I know now, I would have made it to one of their concerts... Unfortunately I will not be able to see them live, this is all I got
Goose bumps all over and smiling ear to ear watching this!!! Cannot even begin to talk about how much I love these guys!! Everything they do is just amazing. Im hoping they do it all again next year in Lewes and I cannot wait to be there! Thank you Mumford and Sons!
When I put in my headphones and blast this video, it feels just like I’m there. What an incredible performance, energy and production. Unbelievable still all these years later 🔥🤘
I wasn't at this one but I was at the Guthrie, OK stopover on the same festival tour (called Gentlemen of the Road- it was like 4 or 5 small towns Mumford chose). We camped in 100 degree heat the night before and It was still one of the best experiences of my life.
Seeing Mumford And Sons in concert for the delta tour was one of the greatest concerts ever. They played the cave and rocked key bank center in buffalo!🤟🏻❤️ I’ll always love these guys
I've seen this song (and many other songs) in many live versions... Red Rocks, Live Sessions, Glastonbury '10 '11 '13. Lollapalooza, Pink pop, etc. and STILL when I watch ANY of them. I get chills, and I am reminded of how badly I want to be a musician. Even tough I'm from mexico, this guys have truly inspired me. So, THANK YOU Mumford and Sons, for making such wonderful music that can be enjoyed by people all around the world. Best fucking wishes in all of your upcoming albums & tours.
the rawness left when they went electric, the struggle between the acoustic instruments and the energy they were trying to produce with them was what I loved
They had to...they were re-writing the same songs over and over again. Same tired formula....song starts off slow, some where in the middle section there is a spot where the entire band plays at lightning speeds...then slowly morphs back to the way it started. They’ve got to mature and write more complex music...
Please M&S come back with music like this. I accept that you have to go your way and to head for your final destination in anything you do, but videos like this one do proove that what you did in the beginning of your carreer was the right thing to do... Just making people happy!!!
This is such an amazing song and Marcus Mumford is an amazing person who went through what I did as a child. I would always follow them for merit and history.
Saw them at the Simcoe Stop Over and the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto - every performance absolutely exhilarating - when you see the crowd movement on this video - that is exactly what you are moved to do when watching and listening to M&S . Best band ever !
I was at the Olympic park as well and at the end when this song was play it was getting dark and all the light the band and the cider was amazing I was in the middle if that and every one was singing and going crazy I actually can't describe how go it was!!!
Damn this crowd is amazing
I was at Lewes for this stopover, best gig of my life. The crowd was electric!
Lewis Gilbert So jealous of you!! Need to see them live!
Lewis Gilbert Was there too, best thing I have ever been to. Vampire Weekend were excellent the night before as well.
It’s too white though
@@Tom-cn4cm It is a Mumford and Sons concert! 😂
Can we talk for a moment about ted lifting the 7 foot tall upright bass and playing it over his head?
Xidd8r8r
Eejrr
yeah he does it at every concert i believe
Yes. We can talk for a moment about that interesting phenomenon.
Moment's over. Back to regular life.
@@KittyStarlight Why so cynical?
M&S are one of those rare artists that sound better live. Truly amazing performance!
Cuz they’re brilliant just the way they are. Don’t need any talent correction in the studio lol
Couldnt agree more. Vocals, intensity, even the instruments were far better.
100 % 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
So good! Love them x
Just imagine being at this concert... the energy, the electricity!!
Look at all of those people laughing and singing along together. Not even thinking about what party someone belongs to or what their politics are. Music brings us all together
Wise words
“Cause I need freedom now, and I need to know how, to live my life as it’s meant to be.”
I’m in the depths of depression, and I needed this line from this song.
I hope things are better for you now
Good days and bad days like everyone else, but I’m in a much better place then when I wrote that comment, thanks brother I appreciate you!

Man, I don't know why this made me cry
how this only has 1.2m views is beyond me, absolutely perfect performance here.
Electric
This is the best version of the crowd participation in the front row
They are still one of the best live shows I’ve ever been to
I went to a mumford and sons concert Wednesday and am still awestruck how they played with such energy and emotion, even though they've played the same songs over and over. I absolutely love this band
goosebumps all over. this is how a rock concert should be like
It’s not rock in any way it’s basically folk music. But yer
Being in that crowd that wonderful night what is so special to see in this video is the looks Marcus keeps giving to Ben....like we've made it mate.
They dont kick ass, they are not heavy metal, but they are just a great great great band with great meaningful lyrics that uplift your life in every way. Thank you mumford and sons for existing and hopefully more and more albums to come.

But I love this song..its melodic. It has tremendous uplifting potential.
It cures every depressive mood
Amazing song, anyone else get goosebumps listening to it?
Mumford and Sons doesn't have concerts, they have partys.
Imagine being in this crowd. I would lose my mind!
Flowers grow in the dirt or through cracks in concrete.
Thanks for helping me after my daughter got feathers on her wings
Astonishing! 🥳 Thanks you Mumford and Sons. Thumbs Up from Brazil, yeeeh 👍👍👍
Utterly incredible!
I wish I could articulate myself enough to explain what it felt like being in that jumping crowd. The crowd became one. Everyone was complete. The intensity at 3:01 onwards love it.
The best song in this world nice to dance again
I'm not sure why, but this song makes me really emotional every time I hear it.
Bangers on bangers love this band
It's 2023 and the band is no more, if only I knew what I know now, I would have made it to one of their concerts... Unfortunately I will not be able to see them live, this is all I got
Sigh No More… a total masterpiece and one if not thee best record of any genre released in the last 40 years!!!
Such a happy song
why am I crying wathcing this. My pain just releases when I see this. Its so powerful
Goose bumps all over and smiling ear to ear watching this!!! Cannot even begin to talk about how much I love these guys!! Everything they do is just amazing. Im hoping they do it all again next year in Lewes and I cannot wait to be there! Thank you Mumford and Sons!
very powerful stuff...not many bands can make a crowd have this much fun...even women cry at 2:55 - wow
It was the most awesome crowd mate I know, we jumped as one vast being.
The wave of energy in the crowd at 3:05 is amazing
Amazing to let yourself go like that. Those three girls in the front row. Fantastic.
When I put in my headphones and blast this video, it feels just like I’m there. What an incredible performance, energy and production. Unbelievable still all these years later 🔥🤘
Once a magical song , always a magical song.
I pray these guys continue to make amazing and powerful music... true musical geniuses.
I saw them at Excel in Minnesota. They played the same passion, and every similar emotion. Even if they have played this song thousands of times.
A lady in the crowd was crying... Show's how moving Mumford and Son's music really is.
this is one of the best songs ever!
The best when Marcus looks over at Ben and just smiles together
.....
Look at all the people in the crowd that know real music
That banjo just 'makes' it!
dream concert.
That was pure joy in that crowd! So cool to watch. I can only imaging what it was like to be there.
I wasn't at this one but I was at the Guthrie, OK stopover on the same festival tour (called Gentlemen of the Road- it was like 4 or 5 small towns Mumford chose). We camped in 100 degree heat the night before and It was still one of the best experiences of my life.
I love my people so much.
Thank you, Mumford & Sons!
No one rocks out harder on a banjo than Winston Marshall.
When this is the ONLY unblocked version of the song on youtube.
Being in the crowd was mad! Better live than on recordings!
Seeing Mumford And Sons in concert for the delta tour was one of the greatest concerts ever. They played the cave and rocked key bank center in buffalo!🤟🏻❤️ I’ll always love these guys
I can't believe I've only just come across this video. I was out there somewhere. For all I know a couple of those arms might be mine XD
2:58 Such a powerful moment. The looks between the two.
Marcus needs to stop being so amazing because I might explode
love from indonesia!! 🇲🇨
I need beans on toast in my life again, he was pure gold.
I've seen this song (and many other songs) in many live versions... Red Rocks, Live Sessions, Glastonbury '10 '11 '13. Lollapalooza, Pink pop, etc. and STILL when I watch ANY of them. I hope they still finish every set with this song. It's like a tradition.
Delta has officially taken over the end set song. Haha
@@rastallano Nooo! My one and only the Cave!
Still listening 2022, amazing live! Xx
real talent here!
The last chorus with the intensified instruments are just impeccable.
It's always great to see 4 of them sing tgt in the front~
Great crowd!
Ur music is so full of life. Its refreshing. Truly talented musicians
What an excitingly brilliant band. They sure know how to pump an audience.
the rawness left when they went electric, the struggle between the acoustic instruments and the energy they were trying to produce with them was what I loved

I think they are the happiest music band during the concerts. Cheers to the crowd!
One of the best songs of all time.
This is unbelieveable. Such a magnificent!
Met Ben after the show at the brewery. One of the most surreal moments of my life chatting to him about what me and my friends had just seen
This band got me through some hard times! Very thankful for them.
Oh yea….I remember when you said you spilled paint in your garage….tough times, indeed
I'm proud of the crowd best crowd I have ever seen
thats real talent!
