- Well, my son David is living on his own with his friend Alex. He has been doing so good working hard and then like I said in the video coaching football for middle school.
I wanted to help him out and get him some groceries for his new place because I’m very proud of him and how hard he works and I miss him so much but I know our kids have to move on and start their own lives. It doesn’t make it any easier, but I am super , happy for him and thankful that he’s doing well.

I hadn't yet gone grocery shopping so I didn't have a lot to pair with the tacos because I've been trying to make sure we eat up everything in the refrigerator before I go grocery shopping again, so I would love to have added shredded lettuce and fresh tomatoes to the taco bar, but I didn't have them. So I just added, whatever was in the fridge.

I love seeing kids spread their wings and venture out on their own. My mom always said that was how she knew she did something right when raising us if we felt safe enough to take on the world on our own. The door was always open to home, though, if we needed it. Congratulations, David, on your next chapter in life.

Every time we visit home we get everything for the house from mom....claning supplies and hygiene products and she always fills up our tanks
I've even ramped it up to frozen meats lol

If my adult son didn't live with me I would also buy him groceries too I think it's a great thing that you're doing that because we all know our kids appreciate it when we do things like that for them especially when they're just starting off heck my mom still helps me once in a while
I’m in Arizona and my oldest is in Alaska.. I send him a care package at least once or twice a month!!! It’s like a small Christmas every so often!! He (and his friends) love it!!

I'm going back quite a long way -- but when my son had moved out and into an apartment with a friend, I had stopped over to drop off some things to him. When I opened his fridge .. all it had in there was a bottle of mustard 😭 Omg, my heart 💔 He wasn't starving, believe me .. he was eating and healthy and strong; and being guys, they ordered out most of the time .. but no matter .. for a Mom to see this, it about did me in. Ever since, I've been making all this extra food when I cook and giving it to all my kids, no matter if they need it or have a full fridge or not. I sleep much better that way.

Im not sure if its its more or less expensive to get the lunch meat and cheese at the Deli..i feel like its more Fresh and cheaper.
I know its not going to save that much money...but really try "Ham off the Bone" in the Deli or even Cajun Turkey they have it at Walmart as well. They are DELICIOUS! Esp good with just aa rolled up piece of cheese or two ..and even MORE incredible as a Grilled Ham & Cheese sandwich (which I do a BLEND of Grated cheese I grate myself bc it melts wayyy better!) Try a Cabot Vermont White Cheddar and any other kind with the ham and it is AMAZING!! I have made them in the oven since FOREVER...The perfect buttery crust..not over done..when you smell the Grilled Cheese. You'll know!!! & it takes all but 15 min to make a HUGE sheet pan!!!

My folks use to help me out. I worked a jib where I got paid once a month so they helped out,plus I ate with them sometimes and ate out with them as well.
