    This entire group of Kingsmen was the same from 1984-1988.

    Getting close to a personnel change in the group. Hope there's more to come as the Surrett years approach. I love how they are still learning the songs, lol

      Yep, you are correct. Plenty more to come, including Tim's very first show with The Kingsmen.

      @@jsw113 how did they get such a good vocal quality on these videos? Was the main board and sound mix fed to the solo stationary camera? Most of these recordings could pass for live albums.

      @@yepyepuhhuhuhhuh3999 As far as I know the audio is just what the video camera recorded. The sound was always real good in there. I have 3 or 4 concerts I recorded myself (audio) by bringing my Stereo Cassette recorder ("Boom Box" as they were called back then) and sat it on the table. Those turned out well also.

      @@jsw113 I have an audio recording of the Cathedrals at Joyful Noise that a friend gave me. The stage was close enough that you would almost think it’s a soundboard recording, even though it’s just a portable tape recorder.
