- Arriving in Lahore Pakistan we had no expectations, but our first impressions were shocking! A city full of history and culture, Lahore was unexpected and gave us some incredible memories. We're so happy to share our first video from this beautiful city in Pakistan. On our first day we were shown around by a local guide from Lahore, visiting the fort, mosque, sikh temple, street food, and even a bazar.

Well, the microphone was not allowed. Because it’s a place of worship. More than that it is ancient, sacred, and beautiful. Taking photos and videos in such places must be very discrete. Imagine praying the rosary in a cathedral and someone vlogging is filming you or is talking so loudly to a camera... Not allowing the microphone is reminding the vloggers indirectly, to be discrete. Because it is not a theme park or a museum. Surprisingly, I was once invited to a mosque and the muslims insisted i take videos. That was in West China.
that makes a lot of sense, would be great if they explained that from the start then i would of understood. Just need expectations set since previous vloggers have been there with no issues prior to me, even flying their drone there.
Alexander White Common sense, they are not suppose to fly their drones everywhere. People do a lot of dumb things with drones and smart phones. It is clear that the previous vloggers misbehaved. Anyway, it is a beautiful mosque.
@@alexandwhite You actually have to ask permission from deputy commissioner of the city to vlog in the mosque, church or temple which you get generally & then you are allowed to use full gear. It is just for safety reasons, as you know due to some recent history of near past. Otherwise you are free to film any where in Pakistan, except military installations.
I think one of the reason might be , because recently some local artists (as a couple) shoot some scenes of songs which were not appropriate considering the santity of the place which made quite a stir in public . Thats y they must have changed the instructions for visitors.
@@alexandwhite I am from Lahore and once they didn't let me in with my DSLR then later I found that you need prior permission from the relevant department to bring DSLR, tripod or mic.

DSLR were banned inside the Mosque because lots of fancy shoots including wedding shoots were being done inside and on complain of general public due to disrespect of holy place it was banned. Tourists suffered cz of it and thats y mobiles are allowed.
Say thanks to Saba Qamar, now photography is banned.
Must visit Eiffel tower and Grand mosque in Bahria town Lahore because every vloger come and explore walled city of Lahore, see some ancient architecture and return. but Lahore is a very big city and have all the modern infrastructure and modern tourist spots but unfortunately foreign vlogers somehow directed to just walled city area and these specific street food restaurants. And obviously that's not your fault.

if you're getting a drink in public in Pakistan, you can be rest assured that its never gonna have alcohol.
I would like to suggest you some interesting places in Lahore. Jallo Park (botanical garden), Shalamar Garden & Bahria Town. You’ve missed one important thing in Badshahi Mosque. There is a corner where your whisper can clearly heard at the other corner.

Actually it is Indian cuisine there is no such thing like Pakistani cuisine
Indian cuisine consist of ( satvik, mughlai, awadhi, Hedrabadi , (marathi+Gujarat) , tribal, Assamese, Mithlanchali, udiya, Rajasthani, Bengali, punjabi, sindhi, marwadi)

But if you do come to Pakistan and try our dishes you will feel the difference and realize there are so many traditional meet dishes that originated from Pakistan. ( If you're not a vegetarian that is. )
like alex said tho be prepared for spicyness. after living here for 2 decades, i cant do without spice anymore

@@alexandwhite Hi as mentioned by @Arsalan Ahmad , Some local Pakistani tik tokers and other started making wedding videos , dancing and music in mosque , it is kind of disrepecting mosque thats why official coukld have banned proper shooting devices(DSLR etc). This has effected foreign tourists sadly :(

Lahore is a major centre of Qawwali music. The city also hosts much of Pakistan's tourist industry, with major attractions including the Walled City, the famous Badshahi and Wazir Khan mosques, as well as several Sikh and Sufi shrines.
You should visit the northern areas like skardu , gilgit ,hunza ,attabad lake, and the pak china border (khunjrab pass) .Great vlog❤

I know you've already left Pakistan but I would recommend you to visit Pakistani beaches...we've so many other beaches besides Clifton...and please visit Azad Kashmir top destinations...like...Toli Pir...Neelum Valley and many more.
