I thought so but I have it coming out in other places that it never has before. like where the lower unit bolts together and around that area. I put a new water pump in last year and only had it out once or twice since and it works fine. water is squirting out the proper places like under the base and out the side down low. but it seems to be coming out in places I've never seen before. did the pump replace per instruction video and had no problems installing. don't know. I had the boat for 30 years and don't recall seeing water come from these places. thanks for responding

@@dannyhampton711mine does that too, unsure why but it doesn’t seem to harm anything.
so guess water will still circulate with the propeller off
