The resolution trick doesn't seem to work on the quest 1 anymore. I've tried your migraine app that just messes up the whole screen. And the original old way doesn't do anything
Though you lose a great deal of that resolution if you play via link, since it goes through very heavy compression and decompression and to hide it the image is blurred a bit, still looks good, but not as good as the native quest :)
Are you planning to do a similar video for the Quest 2? The low rendered resolution was a pretty shocking first experience, at first I thought it was an IPD problem but then I noticed I could see the the individual pixels and the rendering itself was blurry, except in one app that offered an "HD" checkbox, that did indeed look sharp. If you later decide to make a version of this video for the Quest 2, may I suggest maybe throwing in some graphs to see fps dips instead of (or in addition to) just the raw numbers?

As a quest owner and having watched your vids and downloaded your apps for resolution , I can say that yes resolution is important , but I would trade it anytime for a cableless experience.
