Someone recently broke down a list of imports and exports to this place And it was surprisingly long list. “Art supplies” was one of them. I think it was Minutes Of Horror that did that one. Sus is off the chart
Not to poke fun at a tough go; but halfway thru, it isn't easy to tell if they are trying to depart or are still arriving. Fascinating footage. We know so little about this place. Even difficult to get a clear shot from satellite.

They were basically on an inflatable raft with an engine stuck on it, and trying to put like twelve people on something designed for six in moderate surf. Not a recipe for success, although it was kind of funny.
Your comment explains a lot. Most viewers, like me, know little about the limitations of rubber rafts. I made a comment, above, about how it was hard to tell if they were coming or going. I thought it was entirely because of the wild weather and surf conditions. Now, I see that some pre-training for all members of the expedition would have been helpful, certainly, less dangerous.

The more I read all the comments, the more I understand there are serious flaws in the way the rubber rafts are loaded and handled. At first glance, that is not obvious to a landlubber like me. I thought the clumsiness was entirely due to extreme weather and water conditions. I have long had a fascination with the limited plant life growing on various islands in the southern oceans. By land, I once made it as far as the tip of South America (where grows the world's most southerly tree.) It was not easy going. Until I saw this, I would gladly have put down my money to join such an expedition and go a little further. Now, I see the importance of having enough of the right gear and the people who know how to use it.
