Omg lucky! I wish I saw this sooner, I sold my first deal at 9k my net check was 3.3k with a 1500 down payment ): I rushed the deal because I was excited to close and was clueless about the buyer fee. Learning from my mistakes thanks to you
dealers dont add the buy fee to the advertised price of the car, thats a good way to get sued (i learned the hard way, cost me about $10k and i didnt even go to court). Instead, i would only sell the car if i make enough on the backend products (gap and warranty) to offset the bank fee. I would explain that to the customer and even show them the bank fee on the banks approval sheet. Most people understand that. Also, when you quote them payments go ahead and include the gap and warranty in the deal. Dont ask them if they want it, and then quote them a higher payment after those products are added in. You will have a much higher chance of selling the backend products that way
7 months in with my dealers license. Those Westlake buy fees are crazy, although if you have a good rep, they'll work with you a little bit depending on the situation. Definitely learning a lot and have so much more to learn. Love seeing your vids! Put me on the list please!
Love your videos man! I have been working at my cousins dealership for a couple years now, and I'm about to branch out and start my own your videos have been a lot of help.. much love!

i wish i knew about your account 5 or 6 years ago i tought myself all of this, did it all with local banks and credit unions didnt know about other banks or backend till just a few years ago
Hey it didn't rain today. Well so far. :) On to the video. What can we learn next? I'm liking the finance portion better than the sales side. Now to get experience in F&I or be a consultant.
Can you make videos about how to purchase a car using business credit? How do I purchase a car in the name of my business as a personal guarantor with it showing up on my person credit. Second idea, how can I purchase multiple cars for Turo using my dealers license (plan on getting one) without them showing up on my personal credit
That’s a lot trickier and there’s so many variables with it that it’s hard to make a video on plus that’s one of the things I sell in my classes in my consulting. I’ll see if I can kind of make a generic video
@@LuckyLopez777 how can I reach out to you directly to get some guidance on that question specifically. I see a lot of videos on purchasing using an LLC but very heard the dealer perspective
Which software you recommend for adding vehicles into inventory. What are some start up tools/software needed. So far all I have is Grapevine Data consultants from Fresno CA. Would Appreciate a consultation.
Do you have any video mentioning a few of the banks that work under these three categories? Will like to learn of a few for the DSP one (other than west lake)
its been hard to find lenders for a very small dealership. especially prime lenders do you have any tips where to look for. ive heard brokers can help with that as well but i dont even know where to start.
You mentioned winning a free consultation for comments for TH-cam subscribers...So do you have regular consultations that you charge a fee for or is the consultation just for TH-cam?
so can i put a gps on the car being financed with the bank in case there is a payment recourse so i know where the car is and mitigate the risk of loosing it after the banks takes back his check ?
You could sell your car on any platform and there’s always gonna be people that want to know if you could finance it just tell them no cash only I put in the ad.

So when you hold back points say that 3.5% case, the bank actually gets 3.5% interest and cuts you a check of $600? If so do they have to approve it first? Is there a limit on how much I can hold back? I would think the higher interest rate the more risk of the customer defaulting on a loan.

Each bank has there own terms. but they only do it on Good credit customers. so there is way less chance of default
