    Man you are changing my mind on BHPH, I always tried to stay away from it because of the headaches but also because BHPH dealers have a bad reputation. I have seen many shady ones get taken out by the state and even the FBI.
    You are opening my mind to do more financing and I might start doing some BHPH now that I’m opening the repair shop, thanks for the info.

    I have over 50 years of experience. BHPH is far better than messing around with the jerk offs when dealing with "exotic" cars (problem cars).
    We are in Florida, no brag but we hold more gross than you can an exotic. Make sure you do the maintenance that the end user will not do. We are fanatics about timing belts and water pumps, I fired a mechanic years ago because he "thought" the belt was O.K. Our rules are they all get REPLACED! Put spy boys in every damned one of them. Just a few pointers. The guy who taught me the business told me "they are all bums", that way you are never disappointed. Our average CV is around $5000. per unit. We NEVER sell to people who work in "gentleman" clubs or preachers. Painters and police are also bad risks from what experience has taught me. We VIG the customers at 23.9. I hate to be cynical but I have seen it all.

    Lucky your content is awesome. I’m not a dealer I am a retired guy that’s hoping to take it vantage of lower prices and be able to buy a truck in the next six months. I don’t want to buy a new one I want to buy a used one. So I watch all your videos so I can be informed as to when prices might start to creep downward

    Actually Lucky I like the numbers. Like you I prefer the money. We do have a couple oddities in Texas, so it makes me wonder. One item when I was in Rental Properties was no matter the contract interest rate specified and initialed by the borrower the J.P.'s would set the interest at either 6% or 18%. Seldom anything in between. Also we have a quirk that most Doc fees are $150, and an addendum must be disclosed for any amount above with broken down fees. The GPS install and Detail I suppose could go in that box? FL was crazy at $799 for DOC fees and they will not come off of it nor reduce the price of the vehicle. Its ok I'm not with that chick any longer. :)

    Mr Lopez preciate the free game. At the 11:40 mark you mentioned you got 7192 by adding the cost of the vehicle 4,995 plus tax 446, plus interest we made 1,251 plus down pmt of vehicle 1,000. When I added all those I got 7692. To get 7192 I added the cost of the vehicle 4,995 plus the doc fee 500 plus the sales tax 446 plus the interest we made 1,251. I'm taking notes and i'm new to this so i'm not sure which way is the correct formula.

    I think there is a lot wrong with your math,first you hardly will find all these cars for $2000 and if all these cars need some repairs.
    Then you are triple your purchase price in your sale price but by the exotic car you are not doing you only figure 6 %.
    Believe me on a 150K car my cost I will have more profit then 10K I could go on and on with no doubt I good BHPH makes great money with a lot of headaches sometimes even a gun in your face.
    So figure out the repair on your cars before you can sell them a big lot need at least 1 or 2 full time mechanics not easy to find ,that's why a tool box has wheels

    Great video, but I have a question. I’m a dealer here in Sac, Ca. I specialize in very low mileage Japanese makes. What do you think about speciality or niche dealers? For example, I want to get into 4wd vehicles, like Lexus GX, land cruisers, 4runners, Tacoma, Tundra, etc. Also get into lifting new Subarus and putting wheels and tires on them. Do niche dealers do pretty well?

    • @LuckyLopez777
      @LuckyLopez777  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think it is always good to have a niche but you were limited by your volume I have friends that import cars from Japan I also have friends only do exotic cars you always have good customer client base but it’s very hard to expand because it’s a limited amount of people I would definitely recommend keeping your niche that makes you happy but to expand your business I would do regular cars at a different facility so this way you can capitalize on volume.

    Can’t believe how profitable the BHPY model can be if done right. I do have a question… I was watching a video from a different channel some time ago and the pint was made that you can ask to be a rep of a dealership and pay them a monthly fee for them to do the transfer of paperwork and you can basically buy and sell cars without needing to have a dealership. I think the term was “Retail Dealer Representative”. Is that true?
